Very good! Highly recommend! Read more
My typical nail clippers are typically the cheap ones you can find at a big box store and cost a couple of dollars. They've been okay, but I wanted to try something nicer. When I opened these, it came with a nice note from the seller, I like the personal touch. There is also a nice floral design etched into the top of the clipper. It almost looks like this etching would make it rough, but it doesn't. I'm not a big floral person and I'm not sure I need a nice etching in my nail clippers, but it is a nice touch. Once you lift the handle, it exposed a nail file underneath. It's a fairly aggressive and nice file, but I find that it not being in the middle rather than the edge makes it harder for me to use how I'd normally use a file. These are very sharp and cut well. The nail catchers are hit and miss, they don't always catch the pieces. They sometimes get in the way and the one on the toenail clipper is stiff enough that it's hard to move it enough to empty. These are also heavier than similarly sized clippers I have, I want to say that probably means they're made out of better materials, but I'm not certain. These are clearly well made and higher quality than what I'm used to, but they're also much more expensive and I'm not sure it would justify the price difference for me personally but I can see how someone would like them. What I want in a nail clipper is something sharp and relatively inexpensive with no bells and whistles. An old-fashioned file that rotates out would also be nice. I will give Generic Korean High Class Nail Clippers Set excellent marks for sharpness, size and heft, but not for anything else. I've never found "catchers" to be useful since they tend to work only if you're trimming your nails while holding the clipper at precisely the correct angle. The catcher on the small clipper was too loose, obstructed my view and slid when it shouldn't, so I removed it. The catcher on the big clipper was too tight so I slid it back semi-permanently. As much as I like the sharp blades, there's no way I'd pay the asking price for these when drugstore clippers that cost much less will work almost as well and will probably come with old-fashioned files. These nail clippers are absolutely fantastic! I had no idea how much a good pair of nail clippers could change your nail routine but it absolutely does. They are sharp and easy to use so they clip with precision. They are easy to grip and hold on to so they don’t slip while you clip. They are a beautiful sleek design with an added build in sanding board so you can clip and shape using the same tool, making it the perfect travel tool. The little bag it comes in is perfect for transporting and can also fit some of my other small nail tools I like to keep with me as well. Definitely worth the order!! Read more

I like to think of these nail clippers as mama and daughter clippers. Mine are exactly the same, except for size and floral pattern. One of the product photos shows that you may receive any variation of two floral designs. I like that mine have two different patterns. Around the floral pattern on the main side of the clippers, there is a frosted embossing, which I found helps with grip. The back nail clipping catchers have a wave, ergonomic design, which also helps with grip. I like that these clippers have nail clipping catchers built in. There are no instructions indicating how to empty them, but it appears that you can slide the catcher backwards, and this allows for clippings to fall out more easily when you shake the clippers. These clippers are quite sharp, cut cleanly, and do a great job at clipping nails. Although small, the built in nail file in the inside works well at filing down sharp nail edges. The black pouch is made of a soft material that resembles a velvet with fibers very short in height. It has simple drawstrings that work well in closing it. The pouch helps to keep the sharp end of the clippers from damaging things. It’s a nice way to store them, and carry them in a purse or bag. However, there is no divider, so the clippers can damage each other with their sharp parts. I might actually sew a divider into it. Another thing you can do is attach a string or some ball chain through the holes on the ends of the clippers. Then they can be hung up or attached to a keyring, zipper pull, or to the pouches drawstrings so they don’t get lost. There are 3 things I don’t like about this set: First, one of the nail clipping catchers has a visible scratch on it. One of the product photos shows that this is possible and doesn’t affect functionality. It doesn’t look great. For the price I would expect it not to be there. Second is the pouch issue, with it not being divided. And third is that one of the nail clipping catchers is very difficult to retract. Other than these things, this is a nice set, perfect for gifting to yourself or others. It’s nice to have the nail clipping catcher, nail file, and pouch. The designs on the top make them classy. The things listed in the paragraph above are minor, and don’t bother me much. I’d like to give these 4.5 stars, but I’ll round up to 5. Read more
