Wow, super duper fast shipping! I ordered these in the late afternoon on Wednesday and they were delivered by Thursday morning. Enough about that. I wanted this set because I'll be doing some pencil sketching in the next week while recovering from surgery. I love how there's two ends to each tool. One side is a firm, felt like material for blending and the other side is a soft sponge like material for use with shading and creating natural shading. There are two sizes, so six are smaller for getting into very small, precise spaces and doing light touch work and then the larger size for covering larger areas of your work. They feel like a nice weight, not too heavy for when you want to use them for extended periods of time, say on a large piece of artwork. They feel durable and they don't twist around while using them for shading. You have complete control over how you use them. I purchased the set in blue of 12 pieces so I can see having these for a very long time and getting use out of them not with just pencil lead but with other mediums as well, such as water colored pencils and charcoal. These are a very versatile type of artist's tool and can be used with just about any medium you want. They're comfortable in my hand and feel sturdy enough for both soft touch and hard touch. They're also easy to clean with hot water and a dab of soap. I think it's a great value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any artist, beginner or experienced! Read more

These are sturdy, well made blenders. The white tip is much like a compressed paper stub blender, and the dark foam end is a very soft spongy blender that’s great for feathery, ethereal blending. Press too hard with the spongy end while using pastel chalks will basically remove most of the chalk. But a very light touch can give exquisite results. I have not had the same issues as some other reviews with the white ends getting imbedded into the metal handle, and I received all 12 pieces. My set came complete, and it’s all top quality. The only thing that would make this set better would be a nice case to keep them in. Other than that, I think these are perfect for chalk, charcoal, graphite, and maybe creamy-leaded color pencils (like Prisma brand), although I haven’t yet tried them on colored pencils. Recommended! Why did you pick this product vs others?: The white felt end is great. It is firm and blends well. The small size black sponge side works fairly well. But the large black sponge size is very very squishy and floppy and does not work well. For the price, the white sides are worth it. I have not yet used them enough to see how they clean. If they clean easily it will stay a 4 star. If not... Read more

I was excited when I first use this as it allowed for subtle gradients within my drawing. But after a short time, the blender fell apart and was no longer usable. Read more

I picked up the Kosiz Blending Sponge Pen to see if it could help with my drawing, and it did not disappoint. The dual-ended sponge tips are perfect for blending pencil, charcoal, or even pastel, especially when working on small details or creating soft gradients. The pen-like design makes it easy to control, which is a big plus for precision work. The sponges are firm enough to handle heavier strokes but soft enough to blend smoothly without leaving harsh lines. It’s compact, so it’s easy to carry around with my sketchpad, and it’s way less messy than using my fingers for shading. Cleaning the sponges takes a little care, but they hold up decently with proper use. If you’re into drawing or shading, this is a super handy tool to have. It won’t replace all your blending tools, but it’s a great addition to your kit for detailed work! Read more

I know these don’t look or seem like quality art supplies, but, they are fantastic for blending and smoothing colored pencils, for shading, and smudging rough edges. The white end blends and smooths, while the black end smudges. These are a go-to on my drawing table; I have not found anything that works as well as these unique tools. Read more
