I rarely write reviews on Amazon purchases. When I do- it's either because the product far exceeded my expectations, or was so terrible that I felt it was my duty to roast it mercilessly. In this rare case- I have to offer my opinion of this tripod, since it's so fantastic. We took a trip to a national park, where I assumed we'd either have to ask strangers to take our picture as a family, or constantly take selfies (which often means the camera is too close to really show the location and background scenery we want to have in the picture). Assuming it would be busy with people constantly obstructing the camera and tripod, I wanted a tripod that I could set up as quickly as possible, and purchased several different brands / models / designs to see how easy they would be to carry, set-up, put away and use in general. Out of the 8 that I tried- this KraftGeek tripod was the best. It fit in a medium-sized backpack that I carried everywhere we hiked, and it took seconds to take out and set up. It has plenty of tension to stay where needed without being too difficult to open, has a wide base to ensure that it is secure, and is sturdy (we dropped it many times and it still looks and works as good as new). The remote pairs with my Samsung S22 Ultra phone (some reviews state that it changes volume instead of activating the camera shutter, which is true if the camera app is not open, but if you set up the tripod, tap the camera icon on your phone, and remove the remote (you have to remember to press the remote button for 3 seconds to turn it on) then it works flawlessly. I did use the tripod a selfie-stick in a few instances, and it worked perfectly as well. I did not know that I needed this tripod, but it's so compact, but versatile that I found uses for it at home (to take a picture of a family gathering) whereas we has been balancing a phone on books or a ledge somewhere to get the family photo at the dinner table etc. I was slightly worried that I might not be able to carry it on a domestic flight in the US, (even through small "tripods" are permitted according to the TSA's website) but it was not a problem at all. Overall- for the money- this is a terrific tripod for the casual user. High quality (plastic and light weight alloy) materials, simple, reliable mechanisms, sleek design, and an overall terrific value. Read more

The tripod/selfie stick is exactly as advertised. It is very stable, you might just have to be careful in uneven grounds like on hikes, but it worked out fine! The button works great and can stay connected from a good distance. Very easy to setup and set down. Very sturdy and holds your phone perfectly. Travel size. The height and angles are very versatile. I am 5,4 and it can go as tall as I am. The pictures I uploaded give an idea of the selfie stick and how far the button can press and stay connected. Read more

So easy to use and perfect for every angle! The little remote is magnetically attached so I won't lose it. The head rotates in practically every angle giving me lots of options. Great size. Read more

This is a great portable tripod for an iPhone! It is very light and compact, and can be set up in a flash. No pun intended! Not only can it be positioned in just about any angle you want, it comes with a remote exposure button, so you can be in the picture whenever you want to. I highly recommend the simple yet effective iPhone tripod. Read more

The media could not be loaded. My only issue is the phone holder does not swivel around it’s goes side to side. I bout 2 different tripods and one was broken out of the box and I returned it asap. This one I have been using it a lot and it is very sturdy the design is good except for the swivel. The plastic is very strong and the remote works very well even at a distance it works. I think it’s fairly priced. The setup is easy and straightforward, size matters this is very portable and easy to setup when used. I recommend this one all day. Hope it’s helps. Read more

The best tripod I’ve had in terms of sturdiness, weight and height. The best I could hope for moving forward is a magnetic feature instead of the clasp. This is my 2nd one and I almost couldn’t function when I broke the first one by mistake being rough. Read more
