This machine is fantastic for the price point. No, it is not an industrial level espresso machine... but it gets you REALLY REALLY (did I say really?) close! You're going to be hard pressed to find a machine that out performs at this price range, especially for a machine that has a nice grinder built-in. A stand alone grinder would be another huge cost, and this does it all in one. Why should you listen to me? I am a former competitive barista and I know a lot of machines. What this machine IS NOT: -A fully automatic, "hit the button and go" machine. -This machine will not automatically tell you what grind you need. If you want that... I suggest going for the Ninja espresso machine. -An automatic "hit the button and walk away" frother. -Self-cleaning. -A commercial-grade espresso machine (although it gets pretty darn close!) Who this machine is for: -Professional or at home baristas wanting more control in a home machine. -People willing to experiment with finding the perfect grind for their pulls. -People who want more control over their frothing and like doing latte art. -Those who want a really good looking machine on their counter. -People who enjoy cleaning and maintaining a pro-level home machine. Now that we have that out of the way and your expectations are in check, let's talk about this little hot rod of a machine! PROS: -the grinder is a metal burr grinder that is easy to clean and adjust (Whew! Thanks Krups!) -the hopper is easy to use and easy to clean (the simple joys of life!) -the tamper it comes with is pretty great! Good weight, well balanced. The next step up would be a custom tamper, but I actually think this one is pretty darn solid. -the head and gasket system is easy to clean and maintain -the steamer is straightforward and works well. Nice consistent pressure! -I love the pressure gauge monitor. -I like how the different baskets can be tucked away. -Easy to clean! Yay! -Solid espresso! Took a few rounds of adjusting the grind and temperature, but then I was pulling some beautiful shots with lovely crema. *chef's kiss* -Nice steaming! CONS: -I wish the temperature guage was more precise (because I'm that kind of coffee nerd), but if you're okay with it just getting close - it works great. -The instruction manual shows this really awesome tamper box... that this model doesn't come with. Sad face. Final Takeaways: -This is a well constructed, solid piece of equipment. Very impressive for the price point, especially with the built in grinder. -If you want something more precise, you'll have to get into the above $1000 range - but this is astounding for the price it is! -It's a good beginner-intermediate machine. If you feel like you have the ropes with the Ninja or something more automatic and you're ready to step up your game and impress your friends... this is a great next step. It might be the only step you need! -This machine looks really cool on your counter. Retro and space age at the same time. Well done, Krups! -You're going to love it. Really! It's a fun and intuitive machine. Read more

Love it! Makes great coffee. I’ve tried several other machines and this is my favorite! I do not use the milk frother because it is extremely loud and doesn’t foam up as well as my hand held frother. Read more
I purchased the KRUPS Precision Espresso Coffee Machine with Grinder, Steam Wand, and Adjustable Settings on April 17, 2025, and I can confidently say this machine is a powerhouse for anyone serious about crafting cafe-quality drinks at home. It’s not just a coffee maker; it’s an experience. Design & Build Quality: From the moment you unbox it, you can feel the premium quality. The stainless steel and black finish gives it a professional, sleek aesthetic that fits beautifully on any kitchen counter. The dials, knobs, and digital display feel solid and intuitive not flimsy like other machines in this price range. Everything about the build screams durability. The portafilter, steam wand, and grinder components are heavy-duty and well-constructed. KRUPS clearly put thought into both form and function here. Built-in Grinder: The integrated burr grinder is an absolute game changer. It offers a range of grind settings that you can dial in based on your bean type and desired flavor profile. The grind is consistent every time, and the hopper holds a generous amount of beans, making prep fast and efficient. Brewing Performance: This machine pulls a rich, smooth espresso shot with robust crema every single time. Thanks to the adjustable pressure and precision grind, you have full control over how your coffee tastes bold, smooth, balanced, or bright. The dual spout system is perfect for making two espressos at once, and the pre-infusion system ensures even extraction. Once you get your grind and tamp technique down, this machine delivers barista-level results consistently. Steam Wand (Frother): The manual steam wand is powerful and easy to maneuver, producing velvety microfoam ideal for cappuccinos and lattes. It heats quickly and gives you total control over the froth texture. I’ve even started experimenting with latte art and this wand makes it possible. Ease of Use & Maintenance: Despite its high-end capabilities, it’s surprisingly beginner-friendly. The controls are easy to understand, and the included accessories (tamp, filters, milk jug) are high quality and thoughtfully included. Cleanup is straightforward with a removable drip tray, waste container, and easily cleanable steam wand. The machine also prompts descaling when needed another smart touch Favorite Features: • Built-in grinder with multiple grind settings • High-pressure brewing (perfect for espresso lovers) • Professional-grade steam wand • Easy-to-read control panel with temperature and pressure display • Excellent shot consistency • Solid included accessories • Beautiful stainless steel aesthetic Final Thoughts: This espresso machine has taken my morning routine (and weekend coffee dates) to another level. It’s perfect for anyone who wants precision, versatility, and true quality in their coffee without sacrificing ease of use. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn or a seasoned enthusiast, this KRUPS machine delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend this espresso machine to anyone who values rich espresso, creamy lattes, and complete control over their brew. It’s an investment but one that’s worth every single dollar for the performance and craftsmanship you get !!!! Read more
This is a very nice espresso machine. I'm new to making my own espresso and this machine is a delight. It has high end features and makes good coffee. As with anything, you need to make sure to clean after use. The instructions are pretty clear and it has nice features. Overall a nice machine. It does feel a bit on a pricey side and I can't find this model anywhere other than Amazon. Read more
Great cup of coffee but leakage is normal? It leaks quite a bit and is a little inconvenient but the coffee tastes great. Read more
Where to start..... This is not the first espresso machine I have owned, but it is by far the best. The grinder is great, specifically because you can be very precise with the amount of beans you grind, and it goes right into the porta filter. There's even a momentary button so you can grind "just a little more" to get your filter as full as you need. The instructions are super simple to read and understand as well. I like that you can choose the pre-infusion time and temperature, and that you can choose what kind of strength you are trying to brew, from Espresso to Americano. The milk frother is also a nice and easy to use feature that lets you make lovely lattes at home that rival any coffee shop. Read more
