The BEST customer support on Amazon, hands down!
January 2026 - More than a year after my original purchase, KU XIU has once again demonstrated an extraordinary level of long-term customer support. Following Apple’s release of iPadOS 26, the magnetic charging function on my KU XIU stands became incompatible with one of my iPads — an operating-system change that clearly could not have been anticipated when these products were designed. As I noted in a previous update, there was no immediate technical solution available at the time. What happened next is what truly sets this company apart. KU XIU has since engineered a new internal chip specifically designed to restore compatibility with iPadOS 26. After I reached out to ask whether this updated component might be available, they responded promptly, confirmed that I own two of their products, and offered to send two replacement chips so both units could be updated. There were no arguments, no requests for receipts, serial numbers, photos, or videos, and no shipping fees. Within days, I received a tracking number showing the parts already on their way from overseas. This kind of after-the-sale follow-through is exceptionally rare. KU XIU didn’t simply acknowledge a problem — they invested in a hardware solution long after purchase and are proactively supporting customers with updated components. I shop frequently and interact with many companies. I can honestly say I have never experienced this level of sustained care, accountability, and professionalism. KU XIU has earned my trust, my loyalty, and my future business. One final note for anyone concerned about magnetic strength: don’t be. The magnets on these stands are exceptionally strong. I can turn the stand upside down and gently shake it, and the iPad does not budge. These products are solid, thoughtfully designed, and very well made. Hats off to KU XIU — this is what outstanding customer service truly looks like. November 2025 — Several months after my purchase, I discovered that one of my iPads was no longer able to charge properly through the stand after updating to iPadOS 26. This was clearly an operating-system compatibility issue that did not exist at the time I originally purchased the product. I reached out to KU XIU to ask about it, and while they were upfront that they did not yet have a technical fix available, they were already aware of the issue and actively working toward a solution. Rather than dismissing the problem or deflecting responsibility, they took the time to understand my specific use case and made sincere efforts to help in whatever ways were possible at that moment. — Even without an immediate technical solution, every exchange felt thoughtful, human, and professional. It was clear they genuinely cared about the customer experience, made generous offers, and were committed to making things right once a proper fix became available. — Their products are solid and beautifully made, but interactions like this are what truly set KU XIU apart. The way they handled this situation gave me confidence to continue trusting the company as they worked toward a long-term resolution. ⸻ Update – August 2025 The company reached out to me via Amazon messages, and I have to say — they truly care. They went above and beyond to assist me without my even asking, and followed up months later to ensure everything was still working well. I’ve honestly never experienced this level of support. ⸻ Update – April 2025 (Four Months After Purchase) Over time, I’ve come to appreciate the design even more. The easy swivel at the base and ball-and-socket at the connection point to the iPad turned out to be the only daily adjustment I actually needed. What once felt like stiffness in the middle joints now feels like a feature, not a flaw. They’ve remained tight and haven’t sagged a bit. I have tried other iPad arms; they’ve all eventually sagged. Four months in now, this has not sagged, not in the slightest! I’m genuinely glad I chose this product for my setup. It may not suit everyone (it’s not a gas-spring arm, nor is it advertised as such), but for those who value stability and minimal daily fuss, it’s a fantastic option. One additional note worth sharing: KU XIU genuinely reads customer reviews and takes them seriously. After I posted my original three-star review, the company reached out to me directly—I did not contact them or request support. They asked thoughtful questions about how I was actually using the stand and offered practical options (at no cost to me) that might better suit my workflow at the time. The exchange felt personal, respectful, and entirely proactive on their part. There was no defensiveness—only a sincere desire to understand and help. That level of attentiveness is rare, especially months after purchase, and it speaks volumes about how this company operates. It’s reassuring to know that feedback isn’t ignored or routed into a void, but actually read and acted upon by real people. ⸻ Original Review – December 2024 The product description frequently uses the word “adjustable,” which is technically true—but worth clarifying for potential buyers. The base swivel and the ball-and-socket joint near the iPad are both easily adjustable and work extremely well. However, the two middle tube joints seem intentionally designed to remain very stiff once positioned and are not meant for frequent, on-the-fly repositioning. When I first purchased this stand, I expected to move it fluidly during use—pulling it closer to write, then pushing it back with minimal effort. That was my misunderstanding. This is not a gas-spring arm, and the middle joints require deliberate force to adjust. You may need to stand up and use both hands to apply enough pressure to reposition those joints. Once set, however, they stay exactly where you put them and do not sag—ever. With time, I found the sweet spot for those middle joints and realized that for my personal workflow, I rarely need to move them. The adjustments I do use daily are the smooth base swivel and the ball-and-socket joint, which allow effortless changes in viewing angle. Orientation & Mounting (Important Clarification) For the C-clamp version, the clamp grips the short edge of a 13-inch iPad rather than spanning the long side. This does not limit orientation. Once mounted, the iPad can be rotated freely between portrait and landscape using the ball-and-socket joint. The tension knob behind the ball joint allows you to lock it firmly in place or leave it slightly loose so the iPad can be rotated smoothly without retightening each time. I’ve used both mounting options—the C-clamp and the magnetic plate—and both are absolutely solid. The C-clamp easily supports even the largest iPads, and the magnetic mount is far stronger than I initially expected. I’ve literally tested it by turning the mount upside down over a soft surface shaking it—the iPad did not move at all. The magnets are exceptionally strong. Build Quality & Design This stand is beautifully designed. The aluminum construction looks premium and genuinely space-age—nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy. It looks at home on a professional desk or workspace. KU XIU clearly thought through real-world use: • An open channel runs through the center of the arm for cable management • Transparent cable clips are included, making cables easy to route yet nearly invisible • Rubber pads protect your desk • Every joint feels intentional, solid, and over-engineered in the best way The result is a stand that feels engineered for stability and longevity. Bottom Line If you’re looking for a stand that stays exactly where you set it and will never sag over time, this is an excellent choice. It offers outstanding stability, a smooth base swivel, easy orientation changes, and a premium build that inspires confidence. The only thing that would make this perfect is if the middle joints allowed adjustable tension—for example, via an Allen key—so users could fine-tune resistance. That said, once you understand the design philosophy, this becomes a strength rather than a flaw. Read more
