Love them. They didn't smell when I took it out of the box. Great packaging the mats were not folded. Easy to install and the chair just slides. The last one was becoming too hard to move in the chair making you work more your legs than it needed to. The mats were not heavy but they are thick enough to hold down on my carpet. The money is worth it. I have had it for a while but no scratch showing so far making them still look like new. Read more

Here is what I love: It came packaged flat and is very durable. Here is what I wish was different: I previously had a 36x48 that cracked. In hind sight I should have went with a larger size. 32 is not wide enough if you have a large desk chair. It fits but if you roll at all either direction it is prone to going off edge. I am sure this would work better if I had a standard office chair. I would suggest 40 inch as they do not sell a 36 if you have the larger chair. Read more

I had used other types of chair mats to go over carpet - but always ended up throwing them out after even minimal use. The problem with most is, if your push your chair back and it rolls off the mat, sometimes you have to lift the chair up just to get it back on the mat. This can get old over time. These mats, however, are strong, thick plastic. If you roll over the edge, you just roll back on because of the trim along the edge. I did buy another brand that came rolled - which took weeks to flatten; but this one comes flat and no effort to lay down and use immediately. It is excellent. It not only works great, but it looks great too. It is almost crystal clear with just a hint of texture that prevents it from being totally crystal clear. Read more
