I’ll start by saying that part of my reaction here was user error, I genuinely thought these were glass cups based on the listing name and photos, and they are PET plastic, not glass. That said, expectations matter, especially at this price point. The cups arrive neatly stacked in a compact box, which is convenient for storage. They’re lightweight, easy to hold, and do stack very well, making them practical for cabinets or limited space. The design is clean and simple, and they look fine for casual use. They’re best suited for casual use like outdoor gatherings, kids’ drinks, or situations where you want something lightweight and unbreakable rather than everyday kitchen glassware. However, there are some real limitations. They are not microwave safe or dishwasher safe, which significantly reduces everyday usability for me. They’re also smaller than I expected, and while the plastic feels decent, it doesn’t feel premium enough to justify the price given the material and care restrictions. In terms of durability, they should hold up better than glass in terms of breakage, but they don’t feel “heavy duty” in the way the listing suggests. Super beautiful plastic cup set that looks very much like glass. They arrived exactly as pictured and felt very nice and medium weight. I purchased these because my child has sensitivities and does not like drinking out of glass. They did have some residue in them from manufacturing I assume so I decided to wash them right away before use. Unfortunately, I read “unbreakable” and took it as "indestructible." Turns out, they are NOT dishwasher safe, and I badly deformed them during the first wash, so we did not get a chance to actually use them. To be fair, with further reading, the product description does note that heat should be avoided, and this was user error on my part. I do wish it had been noted in the product title. I likely would not have ordered them if I realized they were not dishwasher safe because we just don't do a lot of handwashing here and try to avoid it because the dishwasher is so much more efficient and saves water.
