I ordered these to replace my keyboard wrist rest as I was tired of having to get a new rest every couple of years due to the memory foam breaking down or the gel becoming hard or bust. These are much wider than I am used to, but they provide both wrist and forearm support. They aren't too squishy but are soft enough to be comfortable. The part of the pad that hangs over the edge is minimal but effective. The non slip bottom seems to work, but I may use some adhesive dots I have at home to secure it even more. It would be better if the non-slip bottom was the sticky gel bottom vs the textured raised non-slip bottom. Note that no adhesive strips/dots are included with the rests. I selected the "leather" version (it isn't leather) because of ease of cleaning. I think this will be easy to clean and sanitize if needed. Read more

I've always heard that the more you type, the better you get, and the faster you get. I was taught typing from the teacher that taught photography. I've heard that studies show that if you were taught by other than a regular typist, that you won't be as good as those that have been. One thing is true, I don't get better at each typing session like they say I should, in fact it is the opposite, I get worse! One thing that has usually been a problem for me is that it starts to hurt my shoulders. I used to just lean my arms a little bit on my sides but without the support on my elbows, my shoulders were doing too much work. Now that I am able to lay my elbows on these, my shoulders hurt less! I really like the elbow pads at my desk. My wrists and hands have more comfort. I had to get used to using them, but after abut 20 minuets I was hooked. When I use these my hands can rest and my fingers do all the work. The equality of the pieces is great. At first I thought they were gonna be too think, but I was wrong. This is actually very useful for people who like to put their elbows in the desk when doing computer work or reading, etc. my elbows are no longer sore. This comes as a set of 2. One is enough for me so I’ll use one at work and one at home. This is supposed to be a leather upper, I don’t know if it is but it is soft. There’s plenty of cushioning. It stays on the edge of my desk and it hasn’t fallen so far after using for 2 days, but I am consciously making sure I don’t knock it over. It’s easy to clean and can move it as needed. I received the Leather version of these padded rests. I immediately liked the feel of them and am quite pleased. The side of the edge is padded too. This was an unexpected bonus. * UPDATE 1/10/26: Used daily as an elbow pad with a corner desk setup. The rubber backing does work to keep them from sliding, but not good enough for my uses. I kept knocking the pad on the floor because I'd bump it with my swivel chair, knee, arm, etc. I simply applied Velcro tape to the underside to keep the pad firmly in place. No more pad hitting the when I walk out of my swivel chair or bump it. I use a corner desk setup and very much like these pads for an elbow rest and side knee rest. I also sit with a leg crossed and use the pad for where my leg rests at the edge of the desk just below the knee. My Father (RIP) used to get infected elbows by constantly resting on them over years and years. I wish these had existed while he was alive. We did finagle some furniture arm rest support for him in his later years, but durable foam rest pads didn't exist then. However... 1. These are not leather. (-1 Star for marketing acrobatic jargon lies) If by some technical marketing scheme they qualify as leather, then it is faux (fake) leather and spray painted onto the foam padding. 2. These seem expensive for what you are getting. (-1 Star for inflated pricing) $17 seems too high a price for this 2 pad set. 3. Easily knocked to the floor. Though good anti-slip when in use. You can't brush by them or hit them with a chair without the floor dump. I'll be taping mine to the desk with Velcro strips. *1/10/26: Applied Velcro tape and floor dump stopped. 4. Materials state Cotton and Leather. This cant possibly be true. There is at least rubber and plastics too. The cushion is tough foam (plastic) that can't be created from claimed cotton and (faux) leather (paint). 5. Durability over time. This I can't judge. However if the faux leather coating began to peel next week, I wouldn't be surprised. I'll update the review when these begin to show wear. *Updated: After 1 month used, no wear shown. I'm tempted to cut these open to test the theory of leather paint and the thickness of it on the foam. Verdict: I like them! "I'd [happily] buy that for a dollar!", but not $17 - $21. Feels Good.
