This is my second pair (the first pair was durable and still looks new but was a lottle tight so i sized up). Make legs look slim and are understated and elegant, for all weather, skirts, dresses, pants. Worth the investment. I wore my last pair (9.5) for miles and they looked brand new. They run a bit narrow. Read more

Very hard to put on due to having no zipper. The microfiber bunches up and sags at the bottom of the shaft no matter how hard I tried to pull them up. Off to find a leather style of La Canadienne to try. They are comfortable and lightweight, and I was excited to find them at a great price, but I will have to return these due to the poor fit and resume my search for the ideal boot. Read more

i have wanted these for a year. They arrived yesterday and I was wearing them today. I had compliments from everyone. They are beautiful and flattering. I had no problems at all with getting them on and off. It is easier than knee high wool socks. I bought a size larger (11) than my usual (10) and put in an UGG boot replacement insert. I can wear them with smart wool and my feet are happy, cool, dry, and cute. Read more

I love that these boots are vegan, but favorite part is the silhouette they create. They fit snuggly, but comfortably, and they are tall with no super-visible seams or any other whistles or bells, so they make your legs look long & thin, but they technically aren't heels. The 2 downsides are kinda big: b/c they are microfiber, they aren't a very dark black. I'm a bit picky about this, but decided it was a trade-off for the rest of what I like. They are a very dark charcoal. The other downside is what others have mentioned: they are really annoying to take off. You must wear stockings or socks that run the length of the boots otherwise they won't come off. And even when you do wear stockings, they will never slide off at the end of a long day. But once you have them on, they are super lightweight (also hard to find in boots, especially platform boots) and comfortable. And La Canadienne boots are well made & high quality. Read more

The boot slouches no matter what size calf you are, no matter how many times you pull them up. Read more

Although they tend to get baggy around the ankles like most boots on me, they make my calves look slimmer and my feet narrow. The wedge is great for those who can't tolerate heels but need them. They are so comfortable. Half a size smaller than my shoes fits perfectly. Read more

Love how it's not made of leather - vegan, easy to clean - just wipe off, and how good it looks. Only wish I had ordered it just a little bit bigger so that I could wear it with thick socks in the winter. Would have exchanged it for a bigger size but by the time I got it size 7 was sold out - everywhere. Still at the smaller size it's a keeper. First time I wore it I got tons of compliments. Read more

I tried these boots because they are vegan (almost impossible to find) high quality and they have a small calf at 13.5 inches (even more rare). Was hoping the calf would magically fit my 13.25" calf. No luck. They are still too large for me in the ankle and calf, which is a shame because they are cute. I don't think these would work on a calf smaller than 13.75". It might work if they weren't a very stretchy microfiber, but the material is bagging around my calf and ankle-these seem they will only work if a tight fit directly on a calf (you couldn't wear these over pants, there would be noticeable lumps of the fabric under the boot). Lightweight and a fun material that almost feels like a thin wetsuit. They feel well made and the sole isn't too bulky/heavy feeling or looking. The footbed fits as expected/perfectly. Wish I could keep these, but the gaping / drooping material around my leg looks silly. Read more
