Huge fan of this moisturizer. I found out about it from a friend while on a trip and saw her using it and asked about it. I bought my own soon after, and simply put it has been a great addition to my daily life. This moisturizer is meant for an oily to combination skin type and I definitely fall more on the combination side. Some parts of my face get very dry while others get so oily I swear I could use it to cook popcorn. But even with this difference, my face has felt overall very moisturized since using this. I do think it’s a bit pricey, but it truthfully does last me quite a good while which I think helps to even out the price range. I also love the feel of the product, it is very smooth and doesn’t feel oily or “thick” in the way that some other moisturizers have in the past, this has a much thinner consistency. I tend to have issues with touching things, such as lotion, with the palm of my hands as I cannot stand the feeling, but I do not have this same reaction when using this, it is quite pleasant. Another thing I enjoy is that this is pretty much scentless, I tend to get a bit overwhelmed by lots of scents so I try to limit the scented items I apply, so this has been great in those books. Overall this is a recommended product from me. I feel like it is very easy to apply and feels great on my skin, it gives an almost matte appearance after so I don’t feel like I’m shiny with grease. The smoothness of it also helps to spread out easy so I don’t have issues with apply it to much in any certain area. I will also note on the very rare occasion I have had it start to “peel” almost when I have put on too much and allowed it to dry, but this is not a common occurrence and has not turned me away. I start again with the same La Roche-Posay cleanser to remove oil, dirt, and any sunscreen residue. Once my face is completely dry, I apply a pea-sized amount of Tretinoin 0.01%, focusing on areas prone to acne and oil buildup. After waiting a few minutes for it to absorb, I follow with the Toleriane Double Repair Matte Moisturizer again. It layers perfectly on top of Tretinoin no irritation, no greasiness, just a soft, hydrated feel that keeps my skin calm overnight. I’ve been following this exact routine for two years, and it’s the first time in my life I’ve had clear, balanced skin without flare-ups. Now, I’m so loyal to this product that I buy 5 or 6 bottles at a time whenever there’s a sale or promotion. It was good moisturizer however I find that it wasn’t as hydrating as I would’ve liked it to be. The moisturizer focuses a lot on keeping my skin matte (I have oily skin) so at times my face was a bit dry. It did work really well with my sensitive skin and it was lightweight, but I would opt out for another moisturizer from this brand. Read more

This is one of the best moisturizers I've tried. I have oily, acne-prone skin, and this formulation suits me perfectly. I love the light texture, and I don't feel like I've applied it on my skin, yet it does its work well. I didn't get any irritations from this product even though I have sensitive skin. Finally a moisturizer that doesn't leave my face; shiny, oily and with breakouts! Its truly matte. I really dislike that heavy moisturizer cream mask most moisturizers leave on my face. I've been using prescription strength retinoids for over a year but have refused to counter them with a moisturizer because I just can't tolerate the greasy mask feel they leave behind on my face. I have tried a few gel types opposed to creams but they still felt heavy on my face, this moisturizer has no weight and no shine and leaves my skin feeling clean and moisturized. I'm a happy woman!
