These Lace Mock Neck Detachable Collars are very attractive. They are nice colors, reasonably priced for 5 pieces. I had plans to wear these with different sweaters, tops, jackets, etc. and was excitedly looking forward to it. Then I tried to put one on. The neckline is so small that anyone with a regular size head is going to have a heck of a time trying to put it on, and then later taking it off! I have what I would regard as a small size head and I struggled to put it on and take it off without hurting my ears. Darn! I don't want to do that again. It surely would have been better to have a stretchy material for the neck edge!!! I love to give 5 star reviews for great products and I was ready to do that for these detachable collars until I tried one on. Maybe it would work for a very small person or a child. These soft, extremely pretty, lace-collared Dickies come in five distinctive and useful colors - black, white, *tan/gold, *deep red with a slightly lighter collar, and pink. They go great with everything in your closet and go anywhere you could imagine to dress up for an occasion. These can be worn with daywear to more formal looks. From sweatshirts to sweaters, Oxfords, V-necks to T-shirts, make any day special with a standing lace collar in so many necessary colors. These are sewn well at the seams, and the lace stands up nicely around your neck without tightness. I am 5'10, about 160-ish lbs, and wear a mainly extra large top; just to give a reference point for what sizes they may fit. I also pop on a hat (Fedoras or sun-brim types) from time to time and can wear them easily, although I am not sure of my hat size. This dickey length is long enough for a tall woman, adds enough 'necessary modesty' to any V-necks or somewhat unbuttoned Oxfords, and holds nicely in place underneath anything for me. They fit firmly against my neck without any pressure, slacking, or folding while keeping their shape; also, the lace has slightly added stretch to it. I pull one on before I fully dress and especially before I do my hair, which is long, to get ready for my day. These lace collars add that little extra verve! Feminine detail, so pretty, and to keep them this way, I would recommend hand washing these or using the delicate cycle while they're in a laundry (lingerie) bag, then laying them flat to dry. They do dry in a short amount of time, and this way they will remain in the shape they are when they arrived - without easily snagging. So, use your imagination and pull one of these on to make your day a special one; I love the added style and the change of look to any shirt or top of mine. I have a couple of shorter dickies with lace collars now, although the length of these is easier and longer for my height, which makes them altogether Much Better than the former. *I hope adding my personal information helps, as many may believe these only fit smaller or even more petite women.
