This is a review for the triple (2 FireWire 800 and a USB3). Been using this for over a year, everyday, and no problems. Goes in my backpack, back and forth to work, I’ve accidentally dropped it a few times, and it never lets me down. I just bought 2 of the USB C versions and I’m hoping they are as durable as this model. Read more

Lacie refuses to honor warranty on defective drive, and Amazon is no help!

I bought three of these drives. One was defective. I applied for a refund with Lacie. An email response with instructions was promised but never sent. I contacted Lacie again but they refused to honor their 2 year warranty, stating "A batch of these drives were sold to a corporation" prior to me. I sent them the receipt and screen shots of the malfunction. I said "Brand new in the box thru Amazon" Amazon will evidently not honor returns after 30 days. unbelievable- Read more
