I’m absolutely thrilled with the LADER Pull-Up Bar for Doorway! As a single female, I was a bit nervous about setting it up independently, but it turned out to be incredibly easy. This was a big win, especially since I’m getting back into my fitness routine after taking a brief break. I was looking for something that would be a great addition to my mini-home gym, and this pull-up bar fits the bill perfectly. The installation process was straightforward—I didn’t encounter any issues, and the best part is that when I took it down, it left my doorway completely undamaged. At 5’6”, I find it perfect for doing chin-ups, and I’ve also been using it with my resistance bands to work my triceps. I love that it’s adjustable; I’ve been able to lower it to do what I call “jumping squats,” which has added variety to my workouts. The bar is sturdy and feels very secure when in use. It’s perfect for newbies like myself who are getting back into fitness. I highly recommend this pull-up bar to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use addition to their home gym. It’s been a fantastic purchase! Read more
This pull up bar is super sturdy and well made. I could swing from this thing and it wouldn't budge. That said, I only weigh 115 lbs. Easy to install and easy to move. My only complaint is it seems like there could have been a way to unlock the bar without having a separate hex key. But I am no engineer, and maybe there is a reason for that. Aside from that minor inconvenience, this is a great product. I bought it to hang from as I have scoliosis and hanging gives me a great lower back stretch that helps improve my spine mobility. At first I was skeptical about the product. I wasn't sure if it would actually hold anything up. The product was easy to install... Like surprisingly easy to install - which also made me a bit skeptical. I was partly disappointed but also partly comforted by the fact that when I started fastening the bar in place and started tightening (actually "widening" according to the helpful guide on the actual bar), the paint against one of the walls started to show a crack. I'm taking away one star because that happened (I rent this apt). But also, I was actually more so relieved that the bar was actually fastening and tightening strong enough to create a noticeable physical mark... To me, it meant that its holding in place strong and will be able to hold me up (also I'm a bantamweight soaking wet). I literally just installed it tonight and so far have been doing pull-ups with no issues. So it seems surprisingly solid. Happy with the product. Read more

I purchased this pull-up bar 6 months ago and an identical one almost 2 years ago (under a different brand name (Aprixiate)), for my 66 y/o daughter. It has been successfully used, for 2 years, in a doorway in her home by numerous family members (all weighing under 200lb) I was visiting and enjoyed hanging on it last month. Last week as my daughter was hanging from it... the bar broke off of the red end piece (which is supposed to remain attached) and slammed her into the corner of a wall, severely hitting her head and then she fell to the floor, torquing her back to where she has had to go to a chiropractor. We were trusting Amazon that this was a good product. It says this item is currently unavailable, however Amazon is currently selling an identically appearing one called LADER. I would be dubious about purchasing... because it looks identical. I'm writing this review in hopes to save someone else from getting hurt. Read more
Using this as a place to put my tiny poodle in a harness and hang her from this (like they do at the groomers, I’m not a monster) so she will let me clip her toenails each week. Otherwise she runs from me and squirms out of my arms which is dangerous. This worked like a charm and it so easy to install and take down I don't have to leave it up all week before mail cutting day. This is very sturdy and well made. Highly recommended for this purpose or it’s original intent to use as a pull up bar. Read more
This bar works really well and has helped me be able to do pull ups and work on my grip. I like it better than the other types because I can lower it down to do push-ups and it holds my feet for Nordic curls. I now weigh about 195, but was about 230 when I started using it and had no problems with it. If your grip is too close to the middle it will make some noise, and there is potential to damage the walls I think if you turn it too far. Finally, it does stick to the paint if you leave it up more than a day and can be hard to remove and after several months of use, I will need to repaint someday. However, I will continue to use it for the foreseeable future and would likely buy it again. Read more
Pros: Easy to install. Functions as designed. Holds at least 230 lbs when installed correctly. Levels are kind of useful. Cons: Broke on day 1. I installed it in a doorframe and did a few test pull-ups. I then decided to move it to another doorframe, but one side would no longer retract. It still works in the new doorframe, but since it has a smaller width, it is not centered. I’m not sure how the uneven tensions will affect it over time. Secondly, it kind of smelled bad for a few days. The smell transferred to my hands after use. Overall: Okay product. Despite breaking, it still allows me to do pull ups in my dorm room. I probably would not buy this product again. To be Fair: Our outgoing mail was shut off for several weeks after I received it, so I did not have the ability to return it. I did not contact the seller, so they may have refunded me or replaced it, had I done so. I didn’t really care that much because it still works, and I plan on leaving it behind when I move in a few months anyway. Read more
