This suit gave the illusion of what it needed to. The pants are cut low so if you have a tummy, it possibly will be a problem, but if your tummy is soft and you can put on a girdle that will help. The material is pretty thick and of a good quality. I didn’t want to wear the jacket closed however, when trying to close it, the little split in the back would spread and I don’t like that look so I left it open.
