I ordered this for my wife to try bc she doesn't have a women's suit despite having an entire room to herself dedicated to all her clothing and footwear. I'm rating it 5 stars bc the fit and overall look wearing it are perfect plus I think my wife said, "Now this is a suit!" Probably 100 times. She claims getting the suit turned her entire cruddy day around, so for me that's a 5 star. First off, ordering this includes a women's dress blazer and dress pants. It's listed at $67.99 for both, so while it does look and feel great, it might be worth mentioning that the price is actually pretty low for a blazer and dress pants. For reference, I have dress pants that cost over twice the price of this and blazers that cost even more and what I have isn't even really considered expensive by the standards of your typical "suit expert." Considering that fact, I would just recommend that anyone ordering this or even just considering ordering it should should manage their expectations. Ordering a suit such as this for only $67.99 means you should expect to be getting one that is consistent with that price point. While I'm not trying to say it feels cheap or poorly made, there are options out there that far exceed the quality of this suit but you should expect the cost to rise at least somewhat proportionately. As for sizing, I ordered my wife a size medium after meticulously following the size guide exactly. I even retook measurements multiple times to ensure accuracy. What I can say is that anyone who doesn't have a perfectly proportional body will find that various measurements might fall into a range of recommended sizes. For my wife the majority of measurements put her into the medium size, however she had a couple that measured as small, between small and medium, and another that fell into the large size. Due to this, we felt a bit unsure of which size to order, but ultimately we decided on medium. Yes it is generally recommended to shoot for the bigger size since taking fabric back is always an option, but adding is usually not. The fact that we decided on medium ended up being the right choice as the suit seems to fit great and compliment her figure. Those with body shapes that might be considered disproportionate might really struggle though. Say you're extremely tall with little meat on your bones.. You'd likely find it hard to choose the right size size length would require the larger size which means measurements that affect width would be increasing as well on account of the way the sizing is for this. Regardless.. assuming you take very careful and precise measurements, match those measurements up with the corresponding size recommendations, and if you find you can at least reasonably fit into one of the size categories as well as manage your expectations by considering it's not some suit costing thousands of dollars.. I think you'll love it as much as my wife does. You don't have to wear Dolce or Paul Smith to achieve a damn good look. Also kinda random, but I only remembered I wanted to mention this as I was finished.. but the images make it hard to notice or at least the me they did.. the pin stripes on the black color we ordered ARE golden. This women’s pantsuit is a knockout! I ordered it in the navy and it looks very classy and put together when paired with my favorite tan leather kitten heels. In my opinion it runs big but I’m afraid if I would have sized down it wouldn’t have fit me. I could do without the shoulder pads but that’s just me and my shoulder pad trauma carried over from the late 80’s…trying to work through it but you can’t unwear it and or unsee it and nobody has a really good explanation for why we did it to such an unforgivable degree in the first place. I may just have to remove them and carry on. I love the tapered flare leg and think it looks incredibly feminine and gives length to the legs. I was surprised by the softness and lighter weight of the suits material. It gives it nice movement and makes this one of the more comfortable pantsuits I’ve worn. The suit jacket is great for those of us with a longer torso and I feel it’s about time after all these crop topped shirts and jackets etc…no thank you humpty dumpty I’ll just be the one in the svelte looking navy blue and gold pinstriped pants suit over here. The right jewelry, shoes, and shoulder bag have the potential to bring this suit to the next level. Read more
