This is a seriously good phone stand. It is a bit bigger than the picture might suggest and that is a big plus. It will not tip over easily unless you're really trying. I bought it because I needed a solid desk phone stand that also had the ability to fold up in case I needed to use it on the road. While I bought it for my phone it can easily handle my Nexus 7 tablet. It will easily handle any phone you throw at it. The feet have a really positive stickiness to them and can be easily wiped off when they need cleaning. They really hold the stand in place while still allowing you to slide the stand around the desk. It is heavy enough to be a good desk stand and at the same time it can fold up small enough to take in a bag if you're on the go. I previously bought 2 CoolerMaster Jas mini's and they were far inferior to this stand while costing just as much. The rubber protector on the Jas mini was a hard plastic that was molded around the metal frame. They eventually cracked and started to fall off. The rubber protector on this stand, however, is quite soft and flexible. It can be removed with a bit of effort but it won't fall off easily. It can be removed in case you need to wash it because of a spill. I included a few photos because I feel the ones provided by Amazon don't accurately portray this stand. I really can't say enough good things about this stand. Before finding this one I had given up looking for a good foldable stand and figured it must not exist. Then one day when I wasn't even looking for it, it pops up in my suggested list. If you think this might be what you're looking for, trust me, it is. Read more

I originally bought this for my large LG V10 phone, because my regular stand didn't have enough room underneath for the charging cable to be plugged in while in the stand vertically. I LOVE this stand! It's a nice, compact size to begin with, yet it's strong enough to hold in place much larger devices. It is almost infinitely adjustible within its range for height and angle. It also folds up completely (tri-fold) for easy transport, and it has some soft rubber-like covering and "mini-feet" on the bottom to protect surfaces from scratches. It's roughly the dimensions of a deck of cards when folded. This appears to be a metal stand and is thus heavier than a plastic stand, but it's also a lot sturdier. Since buying the stand I also happened to buy a 9.7" iPad Pro, which also works wonderfully with the stand. (Just be sure to adjust the angle so that the weight doesn't topple the iPad backward when being viewed vertically.) Frankly, I don't know if I would have seen it listed since it's labeled for a Nintendo Switch, but this stand works with almost any device or tablet. I found it because it was on special--I think one of Amazon's Lightning Deals. I think it should be re-named as "Multi-Angle Stand for Phones, Tablets, and Game Devices." Read more

If you like using tabletop mode with your Switch but aren't comfortable with the stability or strength of the built in kickstand, this Lamicall stand is a sturdy and compact solution to consider - with one caveat. First, the good. The arms are solid aluminum and when folded up should be able to withstand fairly rough transport. Tension for the adjustable joints feels tight and secure, allowing for a great deal of freedom in setting the angle you want and keeping it there. A soft rubber glove covers the cradle which both grips the Switch and prevents it from taking scratch damage. The base provides a surprising amount of stability for its small footprint (when on a solid surface) and has four rubber pads which, when kept relatively clean, grip surfaces surprisingly well. And now the bad. The one concern I have with using a Switch with this stand is that the stand's cradle arm covers about 60% of the air intake vents on the lower back of the gaming unit (the red outlines in the uploaded photo show the blocked vent regions). It's something to keep in mind, especially if you operate your Switch in a hot environment. Overall, the product quality and added functionality it brings to tabletop mode make this a nice addition to add to one's Switch accessories. Read more

My grandson has a Nintendo switch that absolutely must be in front of him at snack time. When he broke off the little kickstand that was part of a game console, it was always a struggle to find something to prop the game up with while he watched his shows and ate his snacks. I was looking for repair parts for the Nintendo and stumbled across this. This is exactly what we needed. It’s excellent quality. It’s just heavy enough, and with a footprint that’s just wide enough, that you don’t have to worry about the game falling over. It’s hinged so you can adjust it for the best viewing angle. Paw Paw saved the day with this one. Read more
