Better, but not perfect

This may be the best handlebar mounted phone holder I have used, and I’ve tried many. The difference with this Lamicall mount is the locking mechanism that prevents the jaws from opening in the case of a big hit. That being said, the “ball and claw” mechanism that allows rotation and adjustability of the phone is the same in nearly all of this type of phone mount and is a weak link in the structural integrity of the unit. It seems that a typical phone (I have an iPhone 14 Pro) is heavy enough, that the angle of the phone mount will not stay fixed. If you tighten the ball clamp too far, it breaks. Read more
