While examining the pillow after unpacking I was afraid it might be too soft. Wrong! I love this pillow. Your head doesn’t leave a long time compression as the pillow springs back to original shape. It’s a great quality pillow with plenty of fluffiness. The standard size is perfect for my Queen bed. I was beginning to get headaches from the lack of support with my old pillow. The description of these pillows says "firm" and "supportive". I wouldn't call them super firm, to be honest. If you are looking for a firm, supportive pillow, these may not be the droids that you seek. Out of the package, these pillows felt very soft and "squishy". Not at all firm. I wrote a negative review because of that. I now re-write a review that is more generous than the original. However, after using them for a couple of weeks, I discovered that, once tightly confined in a pillow case, they were much firmer than they originally seemed to be. When encased in pillow-case bondage, they are actually quite comfortable and I have grown to like them. But you might be disappointed if you are looking for a really firm pillow. Read more
