As a bona fide road warrior (I travel about twenty days a month both in the air and on the road), I need to rely on my carry-on luggage. It has to be rugged, have adequate storage space, and be as tough as a two-dollar steak. And if it's stylish, all the better for me. This backpack checks all boxes for me. First off, it's constructed of very nice quality leather with robust stitching and large brass YKK zippers that are designed to last. Like a good old quality leather jacket, I can see this just getting better-looking as the years go on. Their motto is "Gets better with age," and I can see that happening. I can see passing this one down one of these days, it's that kind of quality. It fits my laptop, iPad, notebooks, and all the items needed to keep me and my tech operating on my trips. Its slim profile easily fits below the seat back in front of me on my flights with room to spare for my feet! And did I mention stylish? On a recent trip to Las Vegas, I must have received a half-dozen compliments on its looks at the airports (one was from a TSA agent!). But my favorite thing about this backpack? It's a professional, grown-up piece of luggage. It doesn't look like my mom packed my lunch that day and it conveys a more upscale statement when arriving at meetings. Great backpack, would recommend. Id probably give it 4.5 stars if I could due to some minor things. 1) It's leather, expect some wear. I suppose one could argue that it gives it "character." I'm relatively hard on it and have no major marks. 2) It doesnt hold a ton. It can comfortably fit my 17.3" laptop, tablet, 3 ring binder and book or 2, and thats about it. That said, it becomes stuffed whenever I'm traveling. 3) Strong zippers. It has held up well when over filled. 4) The top outer pocket is sometimes difficult to close due to its curved shape. 5) After 5 months with it, I am confident it was last for several more years. This is a fantastic bag, the leather is smooth and soft but rigid enough to keep its shape. Don't like bags that flop Ideal for computer up to 17" and plenty of other things. It also fits on my carry one luggage for ease of use at the airport. Read more
