This is great in so many ways. It's easily adjustable, folds flat for travel, and angles well enough to use sitting up or while lying on my back. There are some simple changes that the manufacturer should make that would really improve the design, but since I can't give it a 4.5 I will go to 5 as they did a good job giving you what they have advertised. If by some chance the manufacturer reads this review you should reach out to me as I have a few simple changes to suggest that would dramatically improve this product's functionality which would be cheap to implement and would not add a penny to the production costs. When I bought this I intended to draw with it, but I didn't think about the details. The surface has fine lines on it, little divots that create fake wood grain. These are not good for drawing. The bottoms don't have any grip, so they slide on a smooth surface. The leg height for this is good for putting on top of a table to elevate a laptop... it's not that ergonomic for putting on the floor unless you want to be a little bent over while you're using it. I bought it for the purpose of helping me keep my back straight (instead of bent over) because I spend a lot of time on the floor, bed and at desks either drawing or reading or using my laptop. It is acceptable for these activities... but it's short when you're sitting on the floor. I like the height at the table, but it slides. So I can't draw with it like I intended to. I already accidentally knocked my laptop to the floor because it slid when I bumped into it. Another weird quirk is that it holds the desk surface up but when you're trying to put the legs away, the legs will literally slide out while you're trying to put away. It's hard to explain. All in all, it's ok. Still worth the money for me, but some tweaks would make this even better. Read more

This lightweight portable desk was a great purchase. I love how customizable the height and angle are to maximize comfort while using. The built in cooling fan is quiet. And when I’m done using it, it folds down and sits next to my nightstand or end table. Read more
