I am really happy with the durability of this laptop totebag, and how it adds so little weight to all the mobile office stuff I carry in it. The laptop compartment holds a small laptop or notebook. I am using it for my 14” Chromebook. The laptop compartment is adequately padded, and is held closed by a strap with a hook and eye (such as Velcro) closure. None of the four side pockets have anything to keep the top closed, but they are deep pockets and items stored will stay in place under normal conditions. The exterior pocket is big enough to carry a book or most e-readers, and has a magnetic closure that won’t pop open until you pull on it. The bottom of the case is 5 inches wide, which is generally adequate for a mobile office or a day trip. The top zips and snaps and water rolls off of the material this bag is made from. This tote is attractive and doesn’t look like a laptop bag. I will use it even when I’m not carrying a computer and need more storage than my handbag provides. I wish the navy blue color was brighter and wish I had ordered the sage green color, but the dark blue won’t show dirt. Two standout features for me are the loops on the narrower side pockets and the reinforced stitching on all straps. The side pocket loops make it quick and easy to access what you store. The straps are tightly stitched straight across to the outside of the bag, with a criss-cross stitch and tight straight stitch on the inside. Very nice, lightweight, water resistant and roomy tote with oodles of room to carry lots of things securely, like a small umbrella, notebook, laptop, reader or tablet, makeup bag, change purse and credit card/money wallet. Even a spot for a water bottle that won’t tip over and spill. A place to hang keys so they don’t get lost in the depths of the bag. Nicely lined, has a full top zipper and a magnetic latch. The weight comes from what you carry, not the bag. It’s well made and sturdy with strong straps that don’t cut into my hands, and long enough to carry over the shoulder. The only thing that might be nice would be to make the straps adjustable, but that’s just a minor issue and at this price point, not necessary. Perfect size for me. Read more
