Versatile and roomy enough to meet many different needs
Duffel bags---gym bags---sure have come a long way. One of my last bags, a beautiful one that lasted years, was rigid and much heavier than this one. I really like the new developments. This bag comes self-contained, as it folds and zips up on itself. Admittedly, I am not one that is good at getting it back into the precisely folded state it arrived in but it sure takes up a lot less space when empty than my other one. It's roomy and has plenty of side pockets and inside pockets to spare. I put in a whole drawer full of undies in it as a test and there is plenty of room left. I truly love the shoe compartment with it's little ventilation windows. The inside waterproof pocket is more than generous for any wet garment or, conversely, for any items (such as passports, wallets, jewelry) which one wants to protect from the weather. I tested all the pockets, handles and seams and all were well-sewn. The zippers were well-sewn, too, and opened and closed smoothly and effortlessly. The only drawback that I can see is that, being made from this type of velvety rayon fabric, it has a tendency to attract dust very, very quickly. Other than that, I look forward to putting this bag to work. The seller description is completely accurate and the price competitive. Recommended.
