I'm so pleased with this Macbook Air M1 with 8gb RAM and 128gb SSD. I was worried about buying refurbished and my budget is tight so I went with the "acceptable" condition. Also, I was worried 128gb would not be enough storage but my last computer was a 2015 Macbook Pro with the same amount of internal memory. So, I've learned to use SSDs and iCloud. It arrived in great condition! It is incredibly fast due to the M1 chip, looks so beautiful and battery life is 88%! It can last an entire day, 14 hours at work. Does not overheat. The screen looks amazing. It's far, far more than expected and it's helping the environment too! I'm much less stressed about using this computer which fits in my budget (about $350) than I would be buying a more expensive version. Makes me hesitate to buy new when there are refurbished gems like this one! Thank you, Mobilesupply! As long as you are good with managing storage, I find the 128gb to be enough! Please make sure to check how much storage you are currently using prior to purchasing. Also, I received a non-OEM charger that didn't work so be aware of this as a possibility. The company gave me a small courtesy credit to buy a new one. Of course I wish it came with original Apple charger but still five stars! Update: March 2026 It's 7 months later and this computer is one of the best purchases I have made. Has not missed a beat. Still at 88% capacity. I use it daily at work for over 8 hours easily. Holds a charge well. I know I can rely on her and she fit so well within my budget. I did have to go through today and manage some files since memory fills up fast but I offloaded onto my external SSD. Still highly recommend. If you can spare the extra funds for the 256gb version, may be better for your needs but for me it works well and I don't mind having a smaller storage to work with. I still would choose this over the new macbook Neo in a heartbeat given the touch ID, the savings and how reliable it is. Read more
This is amazing! I’ve been looking for laptop that was MacBook but reasonably priced and this was it! I will say it has seen some love but that is all good with me. Just a couple scratches in top but not bad. It’s lightweight like any other MacBook and the screen is perfect also. It’s been so easy to use and set up too. I was able to power it in right away. I’m so glad I’ve been able to get this for such a steal and finally have a MacBook! Should definitely purchase if you are looking for a reasonably priced laptop for school. Read more
Awesome I had an old one and the cat broke the screen, fixing the screen was 400$+ So I looked at buying a similar used one, it was in better condition with battery above 90% and it was cheaper than just fixing the screen. Awesome deal, had it for over 2 months now and it works great Read more
All systems go on this, my second used MacBook purchased from Amazon in two months. First one was returned and I bought this one right away. Right away I could see a small bump in the lid, a few scuffs on the top and some decent scrapes on the bottom. To call this excellent condition was very used car salesman of them. Major embellishment. Also, I do believe we need to stop using words like "refurbished" and "renewed" when all thet was done was a wipe down and a hard drive format. However, it is not unacceptable. Functionality is all there, battery is 90% healthy and exterior appearance is 7 out of 10. Appearance is a bit low for my liking but I am that nut who keeps their stuff in the best of condition. But for the price, I can live with it. Seller was WirelessSource and I would probably use them again. Like I said, appearance is a bit rougher than "excellent" and calling it "renewed" is a bit stupid, but the bargain price makes it all acceptable. Plus the delivery only took a couple days. Would I recommend it. Yes and no. I would discourage or encourage anyone to make this purchase. It's a cheap option to a typically expensive problem. Read more
While the unit itself was fine and everything seemed ok. I did not get a power adapter. The description said power adapter included. The MacBook was dead so I could not charge it until I get an adapter which I had to go out and buy for 60 dollars. Sent Seller a message to see if I can get a partial compensation. Will update my review once I hear back. As of right now ,beware you may not get a power brick. (update).. seller did respond and offered me a partial refund. Good Customer service. Unit is great. Worth every penny of it, would suggest getting an extended warranty just to cover your purchase.( update 2)recontacted seller. After a week or so. Still no refund posted. Contacted again. (update 3)Seller responded again and basically said the same as before " sorry , that will post shortly!" that was several days ago agin and still no refund or replacementfor the missing power supply. I have given up now. I will not buy anything again from this seller since they seem to be playing games with me. they got my money and yes I did get a decent laptop, but I still had to put out 60 more dollars to get it working. lowering my review stars because of the sellers response! Preface: my daughter’s MacBook Air screen stopped working. I decided to order a replacement screen, install wasn’t very difficult and we thought it was a great option over going to Apple and paying almost the price of a new MacBook just to replace a screen. However, the replacement screen didn’t even last 2 weeks before it died again. So I started searching Amazon and found out re-furbished units were being sold a lot a fraction of the cost. After seeing many positive reviews, I decided to order one. The MacBook Air arrived in great condition with exception of 2 small scratches on the outer lid of the screen which is hardly noticeable unless the light hits it just right. It is fully functional and my daughter has a laptop again. This was a better option than buying a 3rd party screen. Side note: I added the 3yr replacement warranty offered through Amazon for piece of mind in case it decides to crap out! Read more
