Update: I gave these a few more chances and as it turns out, these patches do work. I did wake up a few mornings with visible gunk on the patches. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I personally test every single acne patch I get, as I have been using stuff like this for over a decade or more. I remember back then there was only the 3M brand and you could only get them in certain Asian countries. I love that in recent years these have exploded in popularity and I think acne patches are one of the best "inventions". I prefer using acne patches over medication like salicylic acid and things like that. It doesn't irritate my skin like acne medicine and deflates them faster than any topical acne medicine has ever done for me. I'm still unsure about these patches. I've been using them on and off throughout the past few days but every morning when I wake up I don't notice much, if anything, on these patches. I haven't had much breakouts but some other brands have still been able to suck some gunk out, surprisingly. I may have to wait to try these out again when I get a more obvious breakout. The shapes are a little more unique than many other brands and they are a little bigger in size as well. These would be good if you need to cover some cluster breakouts. Having tested numerous brands of acne patches, I've found some patches that worked great on other people's skin but did not work for me, and vice versa, so I would recommend personally trying these out. I also found these to be pricier than some of the other brands, but also keep in mind the patches are slightly bigger than the standard round dots. If the patches work then price isn't much of an issue but these did not really stand out to me in terms of the results. Read more

These are good patches. They come in two sizes. I feel like the smaller 9mm one is almost too small. If two sizes are offered, I'd prefer if they were both slightly larger. Another nit is there is way too much packaging. The patches are inside airtight packaging. Then the package and paper marketing material is inside another larger sealed airtight packaging. None of the packaging is recyclable. These patches are pretty straightforward. They are supposedly tea-tree infused but I did not smell tea-tree when I opened the back. I don't have any sensitivities to tea tree oil or other essential oils, but if you do, you probably want to use just straight-up hydrocolloid patches without added ingredients. Honestly, I think the hydrocolloid patches are key, not all the other added ingredients. Back to the patches, these are nice in that the sticky side is very sticky. They can be repositioned a few times without losing their stick. The other/top side has a satiny finish that is not tacky at all. I hate it when the top side is tacky. With some other patches, I'll go to bed with them on. Then wake up and they're all gone because they have stuck to my sheets. Glad these don't have that issue. I tried these patches on a pimple that was inflamed for a few days. After one night, the patch soaked it up. The inflammation was gone the next morning and the plugged pore came out and the blemish was gone the next day. No scarring. I've been using hydrocolloid patches for years so I know they are not magic. I'm sure the pimple would have healed on its own eventually but these patches definitely help to speed things up and reduce the chances of scarring. Also great for small scratches and cuts. Helps heal with minimal scabbing or scarring. I use them on my kids as young as 3. Read more

I don't know a lot about skincare, but I heard that these nose strips and pimple patches can help with clogged pores and breakouts, so I wanted to give them a try. The nose strips are very cute (yellow with white flowers) and easy to use. You make sure your skin is clean, apply water to your nose, then stick the strip on. You leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then peel it off, both flaps toward the center. After that, you can wash off any leftover adhesive from the strip. Looking at the strip after using it, I could see that it got some gunk out of my pores, which indicates to me that they work! It's kind of gross in a satisfying way, like I want to try it again. I guess I have to wait until I get more gunk in my pores. The pimple patches are also easy to use but don't have as clear of instructions on the package. Again, make sure your face and hands are clean before you apply it. Try not to touch the sticky side with your fingers when you apply it. If you do, it won't stick as well. When you stick it on your pimple, you're supposed to leave it on for 8-10 hours, so I recommend leaving it on overnight. But they're also supposed to be waterproof, so you can supposedly still shower with one on your face (although I didn't try that). I'm not as sure if this one worked because it didn't much reduce the size of my pimple, but perhaps I just used it wrong? Or maybe it was a stubborn pimple that requires multiple usages. I'm not sure. Still though, I'm happy with this little pore and blemish kit. I feel confident that next time I have clogged pores or unexpected pimples, these little packs will be able to help me out. Not to mention the packaging is cute, and the products are not tested on animals. All in all, I call that pretty great. Read more
