This is a pretty great pillow, but pillows are hard to review, as everyone has different tastes. Up from, to appreciate the review, you have to know that I sleep hot & I like my pillows firm. I would say that this pillow was a little on the soft side for me, but I feel like I'm pretty far to the firm side of things, so if you aren't, this will likely be great for you. If you like pillows really soft, this does have a zipper so that you can remove some of the stuffing. And secondly, this one ran a little hot for me, but I'm also on the cold side for sleeping (Iike to keep the thermostat at 60 at night & I have special pillow covers that help cool my pillow. If you've ever used a memory foam pillow before, this is equally warm, so it may not be an issue for you. Lots of positive reviews of this pillow already & no complaints, so it's likely not too warm for most folks. Aside from that, great pillow. Well made. It comes compressed in a very small bag (like a memory foam mattress) but as soon as you cut it open, it expands. I didn't see any timeframe listed on the website or in the box on how long to let it expand, but it didn't take much time at all, maybe an hour. The other really nice thing about this pillow is that it had zero chemical smell at all. A lot of reviews of memory foam mattresses/ pillows, etc complain of the smell that takes a few days to dissipate. There was no issue here. If I had opened it right before IW ent to bed, I would have been fine to sleep on it immediately. If I was rating this pillow only on how much it met my specific needs, I would have rated it a 4 star, but I think I'm a bit of an outlier, so I don't want to unfairly malign this pillow when it's likely a great choice for most people.
