I love, love, love these mugs. The colour is absolutely gorgeous (perhaps not quite as dark green as pictured), but I was already very familiar with the artichaut colour from other pieces, and these fit those exactly, of course. They are so well made and robust. My sister has the same set but in Marseille, and she tells an anecdote of her toddler throwing one of their mugs against their enamelled Red Wood coffee table, and the coffee table chipping but not the mug! This was a perfect gift for my wife. She is an aspiring foodie, who knows the big brands-- but also has arthritis, and knows she can't manage the Dutch ovens and such. This mug looks exactly like the cookware she has dreamed about, it has the coloring and raised lettering of the big guys and is only a little harder to manage than her previous mug.
