Definitely more wind resistant than most of this size, but as a result of this sturdiness and strength it is heavier than the average travel umbrella. It’s not something I’d pack in my purse but it’s not sooo large (like a stick umbrella) I wouldn’t carry it with me somewhere on my arm or into a store if I knew it would be needed. The one aspect I don’t like is that it opens AGGRESSIVELY. Like… use it for self defenses in an emergency aggressively. Like… law suit if you’re not careful cause you’ve gouged your boss’s eye out aggressive. Also, closing it is a mission too. It requires some significant strength. That said, I’d still recommend it, but with those warnings. Not for someone with any fine or gross motor weakness. Read more
