First of all the packaging was not well done, the bag was compacted, compressed and sealed tight in a plastic bag. There is no support placed inside the bag for support, thus all the creases, right out of the box. One of the straps was tucked in the front compartment and made a crease so bad it cannot be flattened! Where do I start? First, I can't help but notice the smell of authentic leather. It just sets the mood for this review. Next, the grain of the leather, with its consistent inconsistency, makes each bag a one of a kind. The handles are thick and firm and the metal pieces that secure them to the bag are the perfect size for the load it will carry. The stitching is consistent and without fray. They used a reputable brand zipper. The leather flags on the zippers are riveted on. The strap is a little creased from packaging, but that will relax with patience. The buckle clips on the strap are firm and clip on easily. And there is plenty of space for the laptop, charger, mouse, etc. Overall, it's a really good laptop bag! Read more

The media could not be loaded. This bag feels and smells like genuine leather. The leather is thick and smoothly finished. The seams are well sewn and sturdy. The bag does seem a little overpriced for the features. The bag is real leather, and the fixtures are metal. But, it doesn't have any metal feet on the bottom to protect the corners. Also, the strap is kind of thin and doesn't disburse pressure on the neck very well under heavy load. The pockets aren't all open, a couple places where there could be pockets, they're just sewn up. I'll start by saying that this laptop bag/briefcase isn't bad... it seems to be made of genuine leather, and it looks pretty nice, overall. However, in my opinion, the quality doesn't match the price. I've paid similar prices for other leather laptop bags that were much nicer and more functional. My biggest complaint is the strap... it's way too long, it's thin, and it just isn't comfortable to carry. I would've rather seen a wider webbed strap, and maybe a leather pad, than this obnoxiously long, thin, leather strap... it's like trying to carry the bag from a flimsy belt. The leather quality seems pretty decent, but I don't expect that it'll fare well through extensive business travel, airports, etc. I'll probably use it ocassionally, but will stick to my other briefcases for my work travel. Ultimately, it's an OK bag. At half it's current price I'd say that it's a 4 star product... at this price, I just can't recommend it. The quality isn't there. Read more

I got this mostly for two reasons, size and leather. The bag is indeed made of good quality leather, and made well. The stitching is flawless, everything from zipper to handles, to stitching, and so forth is done with precision. For myself, the size is just right, room for my laptop, recording devices, scratchpads (yes, I still rely on them), glasses, and some other things, without having either a lot of wasted space or having to squeeze things in. This bag is made with such nice, supple leather. I fit my 17 inch laptop, 13 inch tablet, mouse, cords, keyboards and still had so much room. For full grain leather, it's also much lighter than I was expecting. I got a lot of compliments on how nice this bag is and asked where I got it. The hardware is really great quality, too. I highly recommend this bag. It also would be a great gift idea for someone who travels a lot. Read more
