Does it work? Certainly does, I used it on brand new hat as well and an old abused hat. The pictures shows just how well it works. They do it justice as well it conditioned the old leather and brought it back and upgraded the look of the new hat. The old hat is rejuvenated and has a nice sheen to it. The new was dusty from sitting on a shelf as a small roadside store. It cleaned it up and gave it a nice sheen as well. Read more

I bought this product after it kept coming up in my searches as a top choice. I have a nice couch / love seat set that was starting to look worn after a few years. In particular, there were some white spots and a haze on the leather that appeared to be a buildup of some sort. I have small dogs, so dirty little paw prints would occasionally show up and I would clean them off with the Weiman’s product from the store. That worked ok for a few years but then I noticed it wasn’t being as effective and was really starting to look dingy. I ordered the Leather Honey cleaner / conditioner kit. The cleaner came one day and the conditioner the next day (not sure why). After testing a spot, I thoroughly cleaned the love seat. I noticed that where I lay my head and arm constantly, the leather had a different feel, likely from skin oil. I used isopropyl alcohol to gently clean those spots. It mitigated the weird feel some. The next day I applied the conditioner. I used it sparingly, applying with microfiber cloths, just enough to get coverage. After a few hours I lightly buffed. The difference in color and the stain removal of the cleaner is staggering. It exceeded my expectations. I think the “feel” of the leather in those difficult places is not sticky, but it has more friction when you rub your hand across it. Hands down I’d use this again. I added pictures of the before, then after the cleaner, then after the conditioner (before buffing. The sheen dropped maybe 5-10% after buffing but the result is still fantastic. Read more

Well, ordered BOTH of these products after reading such glowing reviews. I have always taken excellent care of all my personal items especially leather, suede, etc. I usually use saddle soap or neetsfoot oil to clean really nasty footwear or even furnishings if bad, otherwise I just clean w/damp lightly soaped cloth then use damp cloth to remove what little soap may remain. After it dries, no time at all, I use a leather conditioner &/or polish to help keep the color looking new plus shines it nicely. Suede gets a rub w/eraser like remover of dirt, then lightly spray w/a waterproofing spray. For the most part I stay busy w/doing these cleaning preps for my shoes as they get the most wear. I used the cleaner that came w/pair and it went on quickly, don't need much as others have pointed out, dries very quickly. After making sure it was dry, went to the conditioner and spread it on the leather in a thin coat, didn't take long to dry. But one thing I noticed immediately was there was no shine whereas there was prior to using both products. I tried using a shoe brush to buff it up but didn't look any better. I ended up probably doing the opposite from what you should by having to use a polish on both pair to get a shine up on them. I put a lite polishing w/soft cloth on them waiting til dry which was quick and then used brush to buff to beautiful shine. So not sure what total purpose of these are for other than using on badly abused leather? I suppose I could be confused as to the entire purpose of this product but as far as I see, I had already been using products that worked quite well and much less money. If I find differently, I will update. Read more

I bought this Leather Honey kit to clean and condition a few everyday items—car seats, a leather bag, and a couple pairs of shoes—and it worked exactly as expected. The cleaner removed surface dirt and grime without being harsh, and the conditioner soaked in well without leaving the leather greasy or overly shiny. A little goes a long way with both bottles, which I appreciate. After using the conditioner, the leather felt noticeably softer and looked refreshed but still natural. No strong chemical smell, and it didn’t darken the leather in any surprising way. This isn’t a miracle product, but it’s a dependable, easy-to-use set that keeps leather in good shape with regular care. I’d buy it again when this runs out. Read more

I was looking to condition an old pair of dressy shoes and got this stuff based solely on the reviews. It seemed to work really well on the nice shoes, so I wanted to see if they would work on my in-laws horse boots that were sitting in their garage. In the picture you can see the dried up cracked leather I started with - it had almost no color on the toe, that is not dirt, its damaged leather. I cleaned it with the yellow label cleaner, then put on a thin coat of the Leather Honey Conditioner. You could almost hear the leather inhale it. I let dry, and ended doing a second, then a third coat, and you can see on the right that same boot looking soft and healthy again. I am amazed at how easy it was to restore this pair of boots and how well Leather Honey works. Also... I used the yellow label Leather Honey Cleaner on a pair of relatively new Cycling Shoes made of some sort of synthetic material. It cleaned up the shoes in a way that soap and water was unable to. The black shoes had developed a white sheen on them -- Leather Honey Cleaner wiped that haze away with no problem and restored the shoes to a deep black again. Read more
