Nice and gentle but also got gunk out of a suede skirt. Also cleaned up my vintage purse perfectly. If you’re seeing bad reviews, keep in mind the instructions clearly say “do not spot clean” for a reason. Follow the instructions and clean your whole garment. You will not be disappointed. Read more
I rarely write reviews & ONLY if a product exceeds my expectations. Guilty of purchasing a “looks better in pic than in person” Loewe bag on Ebay. When it arrived, I realized reason for low price was that every shadow in the first (“Before”) pic was a dirt mark, including a large one where bag was often rubbed by previous owner’s coat, etc. I also realize the suede was dried out. I tried a suede eraser & brush. Nothing. This stuff works but you MUST follow the directions to gently brush first THEN saturate the suede object to be cleaned. It is so scary! When I was done, bag was much cleaner, but dry & unconditioned. So I followed with Saphir Renovateur in Neutral. Magic!! The cleaning + vegetable oils in the Renovateur made the bag “juicier” again, with that nice, buttery suede feel. I followed with Apple Gardè Rain & Stain Repellent (I use it on my Louis Vuitton handles & it never discolors or darkens.) It worked way better than I was expecting. I had a suede laptop bag that had small black spots all over it from being in the shed in a tub with a crappy lid. I almost threw it away but I decided to give this a try first and now it looks brand new. Read more
I had a colored wax (water washable) on my suede coat collar. Needed to rub/brush 3 times and it's a little better, but I still can see the stain. Overrated product, but it may depend on the type of stain. Read more
