Finally got around to hanging this mirror, and I gotta say it looks pretty good. I ordered the 40x30 which at the time of my order was $140. Hanging was relatively easy, and I opted to hang it vertically to more align with my vanity. The color and dimming controls work smoothly and are easy to operate, though I do wish the controls for those settings were a little more subtle; they stand out a little too much in my opinion, and would look better closer to the edge and more translucent. I would say the only REAL issue I have is they didn't leave a recess/notch behind the mirror for the cord! So it sticks out from the wall where it meets the cord! So when you touch the controls, there's movement in the mirror as it pivots around where the cord passes out from behind it. Not a huge deal, but for $140 I would have expected a real flush mount. I got this for a bathroom replacement, and liked it so much I bought a second one. Three color temperatures (warm, neutral, cool) with memory function. Whatever combo of brightness + color you used last is exactly what turns on next time. My wife likes warm backlight + cool front light in the morning; I like cool everything. One touch and it remembers who’s standing there. The defog works insanely well. Turns on with a separate button and clears the entire mirror in under 2 minutes even after a 20-minute steaming shower. Build quality feels premium. Tempered shatterproof glass, polished edges, aluminum frame on the back (not cheap plastic). Zero light bleed on the sides and the backlight halo is perfectly even. Makeup looks the same inside as it does in daylight. My wife stopped doing the “run to the window” check. Installation was truly 20 minutes. Comes with a solid metal Z-bar that screws to the wall; the mirror just hangs and locks. We hardwired it , but it also includes a plug if you prefer. Read more
