I have a pull-out keyboard shelf mounted under my desk and wanted a lamp that would light both the desk and keyboard shelf. This LitONES model is mounted on a small, weighted base that is easy to move just behind or to the side of the monitor. The lamp height is adjustable and tall enough to shine the light over the monitor and down to the desk and keyboard shelf. The lamp head is also adjustable horizontally 90 degrees to the left or right. Overall the lamp feels very sturdy. The best feature of this lamp is the light itself. The light controls are intuitive and easy to adjust the color and brightness. The lamp has a soft, diffuse light, that can be adjusted to mimic daylight. This was a gift for a high schooler who was doing her work in her own shadow. I told her she needs a desk lamp and now she has a great lamp that is set behind her computer and the long arm extends over her computer and adjust to many positions so she can see and do her work and drawings in brilliant light. The media could not be loaded. Nice even source light. The base arm extends so if placing the base behind a monitor the upper arm can articulate over the top of it. However, looks like the joint pivots rely on friction to hold position with no way to manually tighten if they loosen up over time. Otherwise the unit feels substantial enough and has an overall nice black finish. Out of the box It’s a really good value. Read more

I've owned five desk lamps over the years and this is the very best. It has the light level for all needs, the colors of the light is adjustable and of practical importance is the height it extends to. It spreads the light over a large area. I'd buy it again if it should ever fail. Read more

This lamp is great! It starts with the packaging, which is well designed, very protective, slender, and easy to unpack. The lamp is also very easy to put together. The design is slender where you need it the most—e.g., fits very nicely between my computer and monitor—while the base plate is sufficiently sturdy to prevent the lamp from tipping over. The light head swivels, making it easy to adjust to your needs, and the lamp is bright. Controls for the light are on the pole connecting the lamp to the base.
