These are very nice. I always hate putting my dogs nails because of accidentally cutting too far one time. So every time I cut I cringe hoping I don't hurt my animal. The light on these clippers is fantastic. It's really a game changer. I have dogs with light colored nails and darker gray nails and the light works great on them. I do not have dogs with black nails but I can definitely tell you these work great. The quality is excellent and they are very simple to use. The grip is very secure won't slip at all. Pretty good, not fantastic. They are nice and sharp, clip my dog’s nails really well. The light is a HUGE help to see where I souls and shouldn’t cut. I’m terrified of hurting her so that light is a game changer! She has some dark nails that obviously are harder to see through even with the light but if you look closely, you can still get a good idea of what you’re doing. The white nails are easy peasy. That was the biggest selling point for me and my favorite feature! After only 5 uses the little button that holds the clippers closed when not in use fell off so now they have to go in the drawer open; that was a little annoying. The nail file is decent, but not very rough so it takes longer than it probably should to do some filing. Long enough that my dog gets really annoyed and doesn’t want to let me finish. But they are easy to use, easy to squeeze, and a good product. I have a bad wrist and even with that, squeezing the clippers isn’t difficult at all. Cleaning is a quick rinse. I haven’t used them enough to see if that will cause rust in the future though. The grip is also really nice and comfortable. The battery cover for the light comes off a little too easily for my taste and I worry that, down the road, that might start falling off too. If the button and file were better I’d give it a full 5 stars. Read more

Lifesaver for My Dog! I can’t say enough good things about these nail clippers. My dog had a claw nail that the groomer missed, and it had started growing into his paw. These are really good quality I was skeptical too say the least with them not being a brand I'm familiar with. They are easy to use. Speed is really depends on your animal, however it doesn't take alot of strength so they are pretty sharp. The safety of them is what I really like. The light on these are super bright. Read more

So let me start off with, the light my fav! My girl has mixed color nails, super helpful. The feel, ugh it's nice and lightweight. No grip except a slight curve. That file, hope you have STRONGGG finger tips, or you'll be subject to a game of war whilst trying not to chip your own nails. At least that file won't fall out easily+++. Now let's start with my negative. I thought these were SHARP, as the advert stated. How ever the sharp doesn't matter if the equipment is strung a tad better. My doggo has medium-very semi thick nails. Whelp. My baby's nail broke bc it was twisted in the blades. Now she, after 11years of manicures from me, no longer trusts my skills. I soon fear she may put ME out to pasture. I am pretty upset that I lost her last pair (great pair, lasted her and I years), I will not throw them away bc i feel they have potential with a screwdriver or something. Read more

Giant dog approved! One never been able to make it through a full nail trim with my gray pyrenees, who hates his feet being messed with. I've gone through two other nail clippers, one that splintered his nails and the other couldn't even fit his nails in the cutter. This one fit perfectly and was very sharp. Pyrenees nails are like concrete, but these clippers did the job in record time, and he wasn't as upset with me as other nail trim attempts (see pics for size comparison of pyr nails and clipper). The light was super helpful for his white/clear nails but not so much the dark ones (it did help me see the average length of the quick though so it was helpful even for black nails). Very very good value for the money. I'm not sure how long they will last against his concrete nails but so far, amazing purchase.
