Does anyone care that this set of nail clippers was modeled after a praying mantis? No. What does set this set apart is the nail-catcher feature, which really works! Basically, each clipper has a compartment that holds nail clippings. You can raise or lower the walls of this compartment to capture clippings or empty the chamber when it gets full. Well, as a senior who has long preferred vacuum beard cutters that keep one's sink free of beard trimmings, I can attest that I much prefer to keep my nail clippings in a handy compartment rather than strewn around my bathroom floor, and this is the first set of clippers I've tried that accomplish this end. Otherwise, everything else about these clippers seems topnotch as well, from the sharpness of the blades to the quality of the materials used to the spiffy design and topnotch ergonomics. Is this set worth a few more bucks than many others? IMO, yes... PROS: * Unique and effective clipping catcher feature! * Fine ergonomics. * Sharp blades. * Quality materials. * Nice storage case included.
