I am happy to report that these bulbs are exactly what I expected. My lights have big glass shades and these bulbs are perfect for the look I wanted to achieve. They are extremely bright even in the daytime, which is what I desired. I do a couple of hobbies which require very fine, detailed, precision crafting; I wanted bulbs that would make it almost like daylight during dark hours to facilitate my work and these acheive my goal. Be aware that if you choose warm lighting they will not be as bright; I chose daylight and they are the exact color I expected. The bulbs have held up well over time. I bought my first set of 10 bulbs over 3 years ago and out of that set 2 bulbs had to be replaced because of flickering. These bulbs are very easy to install, they twist into the socket really smoothly. I wish i could say definitively that they are super energy efficient, but I really have no way of measuring the energy efficiency claim. Read more

These are the Edison bulbs that were required for a light I purchased on Amazon. The bulbs are too long so I used them for another fixture. Also, standard fitting in socket. These will work in any fixture provided the bulb does stick out too much. Read more
So far so good. I have six of these installed in a small ceiling light fixture and they look great and dim well. The housings are glass, so you have to be pretty careful as they are very thin. Dropped one 3 ft onto a wood table and it broke. Read more
