I never write reviews, but I had to for this product - I’m genuinely so happy with my purchase! Fit: This mask is incredibly comfortable and so thoughtfully designed. You can tell every detail was considered. I’ve used the OmniLux mask before (the men's version, shared with my bf) and really disliked having to deal with two velcro straps that constantly stuck to my hair. The Hime Sama mask is completely different - it uses a flat strap that sits on top of your head and adjusts both vertically and horizontally without velcro. So smart. You only have to adjust it once to your head shape, instead of messing with it every time, which drove me crazy with the OmniLux. There's also an adjustable chin piece that keeps the mask lifted off your skin. My old mask sat directly on my face, which made my skin warm and kinda sweaty (not ideal for acne-prone skin). This one doesn’t touch my skin at all, so I barely have to clean it. Also, the rubber(?) shielding around the eye area is amazing - I can actually see while wearing it without any vision tinting, and the light doesn’t bother my eyes at all. Every element is just so well done. Why that matters: If a mask is annoying to put on, hard to adjust, or messes with your vision, you just won’t use it. That was my experience with the OmniLux. I never looked forward to using it and kept skipping sessions. It was also really floppy and hard to store whereas this one fits really well in the box it came in and in the travel pouch. I look forward to putting it on which means I actually use it consistently. Functionality: It comes with two extremely detailed manuals that explain the science behind LED masks, including the research, the specific irradiance levels needed for real results, and everything you'd want to verify it's not a gimmick. With so many fraudulent LED products out there, this gave me real peace of mind. (Also it was tested in Korea and I absolutely trust K Beauty scientists) But best of all, the results: I have really oily skin and had (!!) deep nasolabial folds, which showed up early in my 20s and stuck around into my 30s. After just 10 days of daily use (Red 10 every night, Blue 10 a couple mornings a week), I’m seeing a visible difference in my nasolabial folds - even my boyfriend noticed! To be fair, I also started doing light gua sha/facial massage around the same time, so the results could be working together but I’m 100% confident the mask is playing a big role. My skin tone looks more even, redness is reduced, and oiliness has started to improve too. I love that this has blue light and both red and infrared light. I feel like I'm getting 2 products in one which is a wonderful value. I’m honestly so excited about this product. It’s worth every penny and being able to use my FSA made it feel practically free (girl math, I know). I’m ordering one for my mom for Mother’s Day and recommend it to anyone even slightly curious! All that being said, the only cons I can think of are that 1. your mouth is covered by the mask so it can feel a bit claustrophobic (the mask doesn't touch your mouth at all though so you can still speak through it) and 2. the remote is not attached to the mask so it can be easy to lose if you don't keep it in the same place - you do need the remote to cycle through the light options BUT I think this has actually changed in the newer versions and you can select the setting from the button on the mask directly. Very good LED mask! Multiple color settings for different treatment goals, timed treatment (10 min.) for easy use in the event you fall asleep while wearing or get lost on time with wearing. Aesthetically appealing, has a wireless remove for controls but an easy functioning side button on the mask. The straps and eye guards are very comfortable plus easily adjustable. Super relaxing device that is a must have for your skin care regimen. The big plus is that the devise is FSA approved. Read more

I've had this for about a 5 weeks and can see noticeable difference in my skin. It looks smoother and doesn't feel or look as dry. It feels more balanced. Since entering into menopause I've struggled with balanced skin and this mask seems to help. I've been using two of the 7 light modes consistently to encourage collagen production and also dealing with acne breakouts. The acne breakouts seem to be less as well. Who knew one would go back through acne in menopause. The charge on the mask last for about 10 sessions and is easy to charge. I've not encountered any issues and it's very easy to use. I enjoy this skin care ritual over a glass of tea in the evening as part of a close to the day. My pups on the other hand are scared of the mask when I wear it because it hides the face. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the mask for almost 2 months, I have notice improvements on my face. I use it during the night, and when I get up in the morning my face looks well rested and smooth. I also use face serums (not while using the mask, afterwards) and that also helps my skin. I would like it to be more flexible to be more close to the skin, and less stiff because it feels hard on some areas where it rests and leaves a very temporary mark between my brows after I remove it. And I will also like to reach the neck or that can bring an additional part for the neck. Overall I will keep using it everyday. I recommend it, because it does the job.
