I would look elsewhere
I bought this to replace an old florescent light over a slop sink in my basement. For that purpose it is (just) adequate. As others have noted this light is not all that bright; installation was not all that easy as, instead of standard wire nuts, a three wire connecting unit that clips is supplied. The ceiling wires in were a bit too thick to use this and I had to use standard wire nuts. The wire from the ceiling light itself is not all that long and it took a while to get it connected to the existing ceiling wires. As I already took the trouble of installing it I don't plan to return it, but look elsewhere, you can do better for the same price of this light. It is fairly lightweight, a compact size on the positive side. Read more
