I bought this for my garage. It’s definitely brighter than a standard light by far. It’s not huge. It actually comes in a fairly small box so I was a little bit skeptical. My boyfriend had one of these in there before so I thought I was re-ordering the same thing that he got at Home Depot, but this is a little bit smaller, but I kinda like it. It’s not as bright as what he had in there the last time, however he doesn’t agree lol. However, I like things that are not as bright as the sun This is just perfect. It’s not too bright. It’s just right to see everything that you need to see about having 1,000,000 lm. I don’t have it set for motion detection. I have it just set with the switch. worked great - until they didn't. Got these in May to replace lights in my laundry room, garage storage, and attic. They were bright, easy to install, and worked great. Then, about a month ago, they started going out, and all three were dead within a week?? Not sure why they all went out about the same time. They were not all used the same amount. Anyway, I didn't bother trying to track the warranty information down; it's not worth the extra time. I went to Lowe's and bought new ones that I can take back there if they don't last. Read more
