I love these! I really wanted them from the moment I saw them and had a hard time getting an opportunity for them. Jumped on it when I did! And I'm so glad I did. Easy to install easy to put in the lights they look great and the little hook on the bottom as well as the flat surface on the top are absolutely what makes them stand out! Really cool! Btw: the hanging plant shown on mine, is super lightweight and fake... I don't think the weight of dirt and water and a more sturdy pot and things like that would be suitable to hang beneath it... But that little fake plant is awesome and I have some ideas on some pretty cool little figurines and maybe even a little solar lighted thing. 😉 Just don't expect it to do very well with super heavy items. Likewise on the top I'm going to use a little piece of double-sided tape so that what I put up there doesn't blow off in the wind. 👍🏼 One tip: the mounting plates that comes with them has little ears on the sides, and when it comes those ears are facing toward the body of the light and you have to unscrew the tiny little screws to get the mounting plate off so you can put it on your box. Well... I put the mounting plate on the box in the same way, so then when I put the little screws back into attach the light it could swing up and down on the two screws that were in the ears. I thought it was because of the kind of place I'm in where the electric box isn't really deep set and my siding is kind of corrugated... So I went about trying to find a spacer to put between the frame of the light and the surface of the trailer 😳. Nope, just turn the mounting bracket so the ears on the mounting bracket go towards your house, duh... And then we took a screwdriver and bent the ears out just a bit so it could line up with the screw holes on the lamp. Then it snugged right up. NOT a big deal, it was user error from the get-go! The lights are fantastic. Room for improvement on the lights? That bottom plate that they brag about being so cool because you can get to it from the bottom to change the bulbs... It is cool... But you have to take out all four of the little screws holding it in there... Would be umpteen times cooler if it was hinged on one side so you only got to remove two of the holding screws and you don't have to place the bottom somewhere while you're replacing the bulb. This light fixture looks really classy, and is quite affordable for a wall fixture, though that inevitably means the "glass" is actually a synthetic "glass", which means it is susceptible to scratches and UV degradation over time.. this, however, is a fair trade-off for the low price, in my opinion. The lamp has a rear-facing universal mounting plate (mount directly to junction box) held in place with Phillips head set screws, so, in conjunction with the light weight the synthetic glass lends, it will be fairly straight-forward for most installing electricians to complete this installation. The frame feels like it's made of aluminum, so I expect the frame will last quite a while, though I would expect the "glass" will begin as quite clear and bright, and will gradually (in maybe a decade) become more cloudy, as well as obscured by scratches.. which would still serve well for a standard diffused lamp if you didn't mind the aesthetics. Before that happens, for an outdoor lamp, I would expect to see this paint chipping off if aesthetics are your kick. While the lamps are well assembled and clean looking, the general quality does not feel very high, so I will be watching the paint to see if it lasts intact for several years in the Hawaiian sun. I ordered a set of these to replace some old and cheap jar lights on my garage. These immediately make things look classier, even when they aren't turned on. The install is very easy, and there is a nice adjustment option that makes getting the squared lights to be perfectly level pretty easy. The glass feels nice and the seals are tight, which should make keeping bugs out easier. Each light took me about 10 minutes for removal and installation. My only complaint with the install was how easy it will be in the future to lose one of the four screws on the bottom plate that come completely off when changing the light bulb. I'm sure it won't be long until one or more of those go missing. Eventually I'll need to find thumbscrew replacements for these. I would have liked it more if these would have somehow stayed with the fixture to reduce the possibility of dropping a screw into a place where it will never be seen again. Overall, these are a good deal and they are well made. Recommended. Read more

These were really easy to install. I put one up in the front of my house and the other in the back and so far I'm really happy with them. They look great during the day and at night the clear glass means they light up both my porches really well. I haven't had to clean them yet but that's a good thing. I haven't had any bugs get in them yet. I live right around a bunch of wooded areas so that was a problem with my previous dome lights. They do look fairly simple to clean though if something does get in there. You would just have to unscrew the bulb wipe it down from the inside. They're roomy enough that you can do that. I'm getting ready to sell my house so these were a nice addition and I'm sure they help increase the value of the house. They look really nice in person. Read more
