Bought the 100w models as I needed them in areas that don't project enough light into corners and such with CF lightbulbs I had bought years ago. Not the products fault by any means, but the 1st one I tried installing didn't work. Come to find out the light receptical on the ceiling fan apparently bit the dust. Decide to install both in the basement areas instead. First into another ceiling fan, and my eyes now have burn ins. I'm joking, but these are bright. I like that you can position the light blades however needed, as conventional lighting would never get into corners and such. Thought I needed the extentions because of the ceiling fan blades, but not needed. Just need to make sure the light blades are not pulled up to the point they're impacting the ceiling fan blades. Not sure how energy efficient these are. Saw in the description 100w and then below that 80w. I have a hard time believing they consume even 80w being they're LED's. But these are not being used in areas I frequently use, just prefer to reduce my energy consumption as much as possible. Overall, I like them a lot so far. They put out a bright white light, which is what I prefer since my eyesight is diminished these days Time will tell how they hold up to being turned on/off occasionally. Read more
