I got this light to replace the one in my laundry room and I'm very happy with the results. The light is light and has a ton of installation options. it comes with wall anchors if you need it as well as wires if you want a hanging installation. The light itself has 5 wires which are very clearly marked. There are 4 buttons on the chassis that will allow the light to be separated from the mounting bracket. The CCD is inside this area and the light is attached to the bracket with wires so you can't accidentally just pull it in half. The only mounting scenario I can think of that is not covered is mounting to the ceiling box. The mounts really are made to either be hanging or have a screw on either end of the light. It does come with covers though that attach to the top of the light to hide the ceiling electrical box. The CCD has the usual 3 AC wires in addition to 2 dimmer wires, so if you want a dimmable work light you've got that option. I set the light to it's whitest and brightest (25W) setting and was not disappointed. I did not see ANY flickering of have any issues with the operation of the light. Installation took me about 30 minutes. It might take longer if this is your first light installation, but if it is, you've got a well marked kit to do it with. Read more

I ordered this light to add some light in a dark corner of my garage. The light was easy to install and does not require a lighting ceiling box to install. I used conduit to route the wiring to the lighting and there are knockouts around the base of the light which made routing the wiring easy. Additionally, the wiring inside the light was long and made connecting the wiring easy. There are two wires inside (pink and purple) which were in the light and I did not use, I believe they are for dimming, or that's at least what the label says. The light's documentation was not great but installation and operation is pretty straightforward. The light did not come with wiring nuts or mounting hardware, so you'll need that as well. The adjustable lighting brightness and hue was nice so that I could match the existing lighting in the garage. The diffuser works well and the light spreads well in the area. The light doesn't weigh much and I was easily able to fasten the light to the ceiling with 2 screws. I can't comment on the life span, but after a couple of weeks, it is operating well. We got this basic LED light originally to be an additional light in the garage. Upon arrival, we noticed it actually was a little nicer than a garage light so we decided to mount it in the bathroom we are remodeling. It has 3 different light settings that give you cooler and warmer options. Good price for the quality as I said the quality was better than I had expected. This light is better than other where many times the different light settings have been under the mount so you have to choose your 1 setting and if you ever want to adjust it, you have to take the light down. This one has it on the side but be aware to not mount that side to close to the wall or you will have to remove to change settings. Installation is easy and you can do it alone if you know basic electric (like changing outlets out). Easier with 2 hands because of the short wires. Appears durable and I have no worries it will last. The appearance is timeless and it's a utilitarian light that works well for our needs. Much brighter in comparison to the old wattage bulbs.
