love this mirror. has different light settings and very bright for a backlight mirror. i paired it with another vanity off of amazon. but does fine on its own. quality is amazing not too heavy and looks great. Needed a specific size mirror to fit in a 1/2 bath. This was exactly what was needed in size, and its delicate glow accents the bathroom without overtaking it. It came with absolutely everything you need to install into drywall and my handyman had it up in less than 10 minutes. There's no shower so it wont fog up, but it's so easy to clean it always looks perfect in florida humidity. My guests have commented it each time they use the restroom how sleek but abstract it looks. VERY happy! Read more

Since the mirror has no corners corresponding to the box corners (which is where damage occurs) the foam-only packaging is adequate to protect it in transit. You can hang it horizontally or vertically (though horizontal would look rather strange to me) but the fixings for this are just screws and slotted brackets, not French cleats, which would have improved the mounting process. I appreciate the mirror coming with a plug, which means you can test it immediately. One look at the back shows the anti-fog heating plate is small relative to the size of the mirror, which suggests this is not the greatest mirror to hang in a steamy bathroom. It is only backlit, with no front lighting, and whilst that can look charming, it is not a bright source of light. You will want a vanity light to go with this mirror; it is not a replacement for both a mirror and a vanity light. Looking somewhat like a plectrum, a tear drop or a portal from science fiction, the mirror is attractive, but is not as functional as it could be. So buy this mirror for its looks, but don't expect it to replace a vanity light, or for a lot of area to be cleared by the woefully small anti-fog plate. This is a vain mirror, not a mirror with adequate vanity lighting. Read more
