This is a large LEGO set—bigger than anything I’ve built as an adult—and it’s absolutely a “clear off the kitchen table and dedicate a weekend” kind of project. The build itself is engaging and never felt rushed, but it definitely demands time and space. Once assembled, the set is very long and has a strong presence as a display piece. My wife and I plan to use it as a Christmas village substitute for years to come, storing it assembled between holiday seasons, and it feels well-suited to that role. The buildings look great lined up, and the overall scene reads clearly even from a distance. The minifigures are a standout. There are a lot of unique costumes here that put the characters outside their usual “robes in a classroom” look, which makes the set feel special and more collector-focused. My main drawback is the heavy use of stickers, especially at this price point. There are several places where printed pieces would have made more sense, and stickers simply don’t hold up as well over time—particularly for a display set intended to be reused year after year. Overall, this is a great set for serious Harry Potter fans, collectors, or anyone looking for a detailed alternative to a traditional holiday village display. As a long-time fan of both Legos and Harry Potter who has smaller scale sets, this Collectors Edition is in a completely different league. It’s massive, with 5 complete buildings and a ton of little surprises to discover. The Good: Very Complete: Getting Zonko's and the Hog's Head in one go is great. The inclusion of Scrivenshaft's and the Owl Post makes the street feel like a proper "village" rather than just a couple of standalone shops. Adult-Focused Detail: The interiors aren't just empty boxes; they are packed with references like the Ariana Dumbledore portrait/secret passage and the Butterbeer taps at The Three Broomsticks. Display Presence: The snowy aesthetic looks great on a shelf. Because it’s a "Collectors' Edition," the architecture is much more refined and less "blocky" than the versions meant for kids. The Not-So-Good: The Price Tag isn't exactly cheap! While you get 3,228 pieces, the "cost-per-brick" feels a bit high compared to other large sets like the UCS models or the Daily Bugle. Shallow Depth: At only 5.5 inches deep, the buildings are a bit "thin". It looks amazing from the front, but if you want to display it in the middle of a table, the open-back style might be a letdown for some. The Verdict: I and my family absolutely love this set. If you have the shelf space and the budget, this is the definitive Hogsmeade. Its a centerpiece for a true collector's HP or Lego collection. Recommended. Read more

This is the type of item that really needs more than 5 stars. This is lego and all over the world we've all come to know that name means fun and quality and everyone has the memories and joy of playing with lego and building these incredible sets. But this is really just an unbelievable set even for lego. This incredible set has 7 buildings recreating the magic of winter at Hogsmeade Village in the beloved Harry Potter franchise. The amount of detail is really astounding with all the shops like hogs head pub and Honeydukes represented with the type of care only lego can do. There are 12 mini figures which sounds like a misprint but it's real. From Harry himself to his rival Draco and a bunch of beloved characters just playing the figures by themselves is hours of fun. Also included in this enormous set is a companion app that you can use to follow along your building progress which is really just the icing on this incredible cake. This particular lego set is geared toward adults and is the most perfect gift for any Harry Potter fan AND and Lego fan and would be the crown jewel in any fan collection.
