I really enjoyed making this. Instructions were clear. This wasn't a difficult Lego set. A teen could enjoy it. I would give it as a gift. Looks like the picture. And you can personalize it by moving certain items that just lift out after you have made it. Read more

Let me start by saying I am not super into Legos, I got this because I thought it might be a fun alternative to puzzles. My husband and I did have fun, but I might not have the patience required for so many little pieces. I loved the cottage and fall look, and think it's different than most other Lego sets I have seen. It would look cool sitting on a bookshelf once done. It came well packaged in a beautiful box with nice seals. However I think you're paying for the name, I'm not sure the value is there, as it was quite a high price point. Overall, a fun set that would make a great gift for the special Lego lover in your life, just maybe not the casual hobby enthusiast. Read more

Even though this set is called an “autumn” cottage, don’t let that label scare you off. It’s genuinely adorable and full of small details that make the build enjoyable from start to finish. I loved spotting things like the tiny frog, the bird bath, and the cottage doors that actually open. Those little touches give the whole scene a lot of personality. One of my favorite features is that the trees are interchangeable. They lift right out and can be placed in different spots around the garden, which makes it fun to change up the look once everything is built. There are also different types of trees, not just one repeat, which keeps the finished display from feeling flat or repetitive. Once finished, it looks great on a bookshelf and feels more like a decorative piece than a toy. The build itself was easy to follow and I finished it in an afternoon. You definitely don’t need to be an experienced LEGO builder to enjoy this one. That said, the water section does get a bit repetitive. You place a lot of water tiles mainly to level the surface, even though much of it ends up covered by other pieces later. It’s not difficult, just a little monotonous. The tree leaves also take a bit of care when attaching them, but nothing frustrating. Overall, this was a genuinely fun and relaxing build. LEGO pricing is always something people debate, but for me, this felt like a great way to spend an afternoon and ended with a display piece I actually enjoy looking at. Read more
Once of my favorite things with LEGO is that you generally know exactly what you're getting. Some products (looking at you, Ornithopter) give you an unexpected challenge in building but, whether easy or hard, you know what it's going to be like when it's done. This Autumn Cottage is an easier build, focusing more on the creative process after assembly than on simply connecting studs. It's almost like the zen garden of bricks... The instructions were easy to follow, as always. Once put together, it stays together, like the overwhelming majority of LEGO. What's really fun is making the cottage feel like yours. With most LEGO sets, once assembled everyone has the same thing. This gives you enough pieces and space to put together something that no one else has, assuming you don't want to just leave things as-is. It's a cool blend of instruction and freedom that I appreciate. Read more
This LEGO Icons Autumn Cottage Garden set is absolutely worth it. The design is detailed and charming, with lots of fall-themed elements that make the finished build look amazing on a shelf or desk. The size is just right—big enough to feel like a complete scene, but not so large that it takes over your space. The build process was fun and relaxing, with enough variety to stay interesting the whole time. Assembly is straightforward with clear instructions, and the pieces fit together smoothly. Once completed, it feels sturdy and durable, and the small accessories and garden details make it feel like a high-quality display model. For the amount of detail, piece count, and how great it looks, it’s excellent value for money. If you enjoy LEGO sets for building and decorating, this one is a perfect choice. Read more
