LEGO Star Wars Ahsoka Ghost and Phantom II Spaceship Toy - Star Wars Building Toys Set for Kids

As both a longtime LEGO and Star Wars fan, I was excited for the Ahsoka Ghost and Phantom II LEGO set. This set comes with essentially two space ships (the Ghost and detachable Phantom II) as well as 5 LEGO Star Wars characters. One drawback of this set was the cost, but I was able to find it on sale for a price I was comfortable with. The set was shipped quickly and securely, and the box I received was in excellent condition. The quality, design, appearance and collectible value made it a worthwhile addition to my collection. It's Lego, and I loved the ship's design. And as always, there are no problems like with Chinese brands trying to imitate Lego: no missing pieces, no design flaws in the structures, and no parts that don't fit together. It's always better to pay the average price of Lego than a Chinese brand and avoid bad experiences. Read more

A fun but not overly complicated build. There is very pleasing use of color and some unique (in my experience) building methods. The end result is a good size and is stable with good detail. Read more

It's a great pair of builds. The Ghost doesn't look bad when the Phantom II isn't attached. The interior is far better than the 2014 version of the set. There are a fair amount of minifigs and they all fit inside when it's all put together. Read more

THE BUILD: The building itself took me about 3.5 hours to complete. Instructions were easy to follow. Thr manual even comes in a protective envelope to make sure it doesn't bend! In the instruction booklet itself, it has a gauge to help you know how far and close you are to finishing. THE PLAYABILITY: There so much interior space inside for one to play whether it's the two gunner stations, the sink and cargo area, the Phantom II mini ship or the shooting projectiles- this ship has it all! There's a great place to out each minifigure and it doesn't feel like anyone is just an extra fig to sit around. THE AESTHETIC: Unlike many other star wars ships which are some variation of gray, this set is exploding with color in a way that doesn't make it look like a clown but yet makes it beautiful to look at. The red and yellow pops but doesn't distract while the sand blue fits right in. It definitely is a great display piece as well as play piece. THE VALUE: If you're sitting on whether to buy this set, it may be helpful to know that the previous iteration of the Ghost ship now costs around $1000 online. This set is not only cheaper but BETTER in terms of interior design, aesthetic, included Phantom II ship, and with great minifigures! This is the only ship I've pre-ordered and the most expensive one at that, but I don't regret it at all. It's so worth it! I've put my model of the Razor Crest next to it for size comparison.
