You literally plug this into a usb port and then go to your camera settings and viola your good to go! The picture is super clear….almost too clear because I could see everything on my skin. For the price I got it, it gets the job done! I often find that it has trouble focusing on things that are too close to the camera as the auto-focus feature, if it even has any, sometimes doesn't kick in at all. But for the price, you really do get what you pay for and it works as expected. Great for zoom, hanging out casually with friends, video calls and basic video recording also work on it, just don't expect 1080p YouTube quality videos out of this thing, it's definitely a basic item that is best suited for personal and casual use. The mic quality is ok, although I wouldn't recommend it for things like gaming or voice chats, it just works best as a cheaper way to get a camera if you need it for whatever reason! Sound quality the few times I have tested it is passable but on the lower end of things but that's not really what I use webcams for to begin with so it's no big deal. It plugs in via USB and it's incredibly easy to adjust and install, the swivel arm that clamps the camera onto things is very durable, yet easy to adjust as needed, with a wide range of mobility! Plug and play and the definition is excellent. I bought this to supplement the built in camera on my laptop for evening meetings where the lighting is too dim. It works very well in low light settings. Frankly almost too well because it shows really fine detail! Read more

Unfortunately, I will be returning this item. I plugged it into my computer, tested it in the camera app and it did not work. I tried troubleshooting, updating drivers, and unplugging it. I also turned the toggle on to give the camera app access to the webcam . Nothing works 😔I keep getting different error codes. Read more
