This small device is a game changer that connects to my XBOX S controller and it allows me to change the volume for the voice chat or game sound independently. I no longer have to fumble the volume adjustment on my headset or from the XBOX menu setting as this device has volume +/- as well as mute button. While this adapter works great with my XBOX S controller, I did notice that my wired old XBOX One controller won't work with this adapter as it doesn't have USB port so make sure to check your controller before getting it. It will work without any issue with more recent XBOX X and S controllers without any driver or software installation. The media could not be loaded. I have had this product for 2 days now so I can gove a fair and honest review on it. From intense gamin sessions to relaxing watching youtube with it. In both scenarios Im pretty satisfied with the investment I made into this xbox adapter. Gaming with friend was easier to make game chat or party louder and my friends have said I sounded a lot clearer with the adapter being used. There is only two things that I was able togind wrong with the product. (Which is great since I was lookin for more to be wrong with it.) The First - The headphone jack is a little smaller than it needs to be. It makes it feel like you are trying to force the headphones to come out and could possibly lead to the adapter to break. But It does add a layer of protection so you controller jack does not break which I found to be reassuring. Well that and the fact it come with a 1 Year Warranty so even if it brakes They will send you another one for free is it brakes in that time period. The Second- This could be just a me thing but when I use it with a gaming headset it works great but when I tried using my AKG Earbuds I could not talk using them when I can without the adapter. I tried using a different controller and even used it on a brand new controller I bought and can't seem to make it work. Which I found disappointed when I found out because it whould be better used with my earbuds than the gaming headset. So I have had this product since February and it works well on my end but my friends struggle to hear me when I use it yet when I don't use it and just plug it into my controller they hear me really well so the sound going out to others is terrible and to fix it I have to unplug my adapter multiple times until it clicks well I guess.
