I purchased the Levoit Vital 200S-P primarily because I needed a higher-capacity unit for my 900 sq feet living space and was impressed by the 1875 sq ft rating. After using it for 6 months, I can confirm it handles the space efficiently. Effective Dust and Dander Reduction: This was my main concern, and the unit definitely helps. I run it constantly, and I've noticed a measurable reduction in floating dust and pet hair from my [Mention pet, e.g., dog/cat]. The washable pre-filter is practical and reduces the frequency of main filter changes. Good Auto Mode: I appreciate the auto setting. It reliably detects when the air quality dips (like when I'm cooking or cleaning) and adjusts the fan speed automatically. It's truly a "set it and forget it" appliance. Quiet Operation: The noise level is very reasonable. On the lowest settings, it’s a pleasant background hum. Crucially, the Sleep Mode is genuinely quiet enough for me to keep it running in the bedroom without disturbing my sleep. Design & Footprint: It’s relatively compact for its power. The design is clean and doesn't stand out awkwardly in the room. Overall Takeaway The Levoit Vital 200S-P is a high-value investment for large area air purification. It performs as advertised, is reasonably quiet, and makes a noticeable, practical difference in managing household air quality issues like pet dander and dust. It's a reliable machine I would recommend to anyone needing serious coverage. Also levoit stand by their warranty. Great company. Read more

Seriously I’ve never bought a large air purifier like this but it’s truly excellent. My apartment has a slight smoke smell and the standard carbon filter clear it up entirely. Sleep or low speed is very quiet. I have it set to quiet basically ALL the time. The automation via the app and using google home automation is pretty seamless if your good with tech. The in-app automation is literally perfect. Even without wifi, the filters keep a memory of the setting your choose and will still turn on/off. I now have TWO of these filters, one for bedroom and my living room. GET THIS AIR FILTER. I’m not sponsored lol. I’m just a clean air nerd. Read more

So far seems to be a quality purifier. Air seems lighter when in use. I like that the AP shows air quality and programable settings. Was so impressed with performance of the smaller 1000S unit, after only a couple of hours use, I ordered a larger 2000S for a larger section of our home. Sleep mode, practically silent. We use fan speed level 1 when sleeping for smaller 1000 unit. We tend to use level two on this 2000S unit which is very quiet (a whisper) as well in our opinion. The 1000S actually worked well in larger area of home, the 2000S certainly larger in size, logically should be better for larger areas. When removing holiday decorations from containers that were in the garage into the home, I checked the app and saw the color had changed to red telling me poor air quality. Then, when I looked an hour later, it had suggested to clean dust sensor and inspect filter filters, the first filter was extremely dusty, but worked perfectly after I vacuumed it clean. Perhaps I don’t have the setting set properly, but would’ve liked to have been notified of this rather than find this out by manually opening up the app. However, still impressed with the app explaining what may be wrong and how to proceed. I use this in my bedroom. I have severe allergies, asthma, and very smelly neighbors who also smoke. This unit is perfect. I originally bought it for my guest room but this one’s control panel fades allthe way to black upon my command which makes it easier to sleep than the Winix I put in the other room. It works so well, I can’t even really use my essential oil diffuser anymore because it even sucks up the smells I *like*. My only complaint is the wind tunnel that the ads brag about. This thing is REALLY pushing some air out via the front panel! Don’t point it at your bed unless you like it on a lower level of operation! I like it on level 3 so I can sleep to white noise (and block out my neighbors lol.) Level 2 and below are basically silent. As is the Auto function. Very happy with this purchase! Definitely recommend. Read more

This unit made such a remarkable difference in the air quality of my entire home. I originally purchased it for my main floor primary bedroom and open floor plan living space to remove pet dander and improve sleep quality. Worked great. I just purchased a second unit for my newly finished basement for dust removal post renovation and daily maintenance. The app makes programming easy. I set it to to run few hours a day based on changes in air quality. The unit is not too noisy. Especially at lower speeds. I actually prefer the white noise when I sleep. The unit is light enough to move around the house but a little large to be carrying up and down stairs. Very satisfied with this purchase. Read more

I like the aesthetics of this unit. It's nice to have a removable pre filter. A couple concerns however are that the pre filter bows outward and leaves about a half inch gap in the middle. I ensured that it was installed properly, but it just doesn't look right. Another downside is that I mainly use this for white noise to help me sleep, but the fan speed settings make that difficult. With the fan on level 1, there's basically no noise at all, level 2 you can barely hear the fan spinning even from a couple feet away, but level three ramps up quite loud for use while sleeping. Seems like there should be at least one more level between two and three. Otherwise, the fan is decent and doesn't have any clicking or whirring sounds like some other models. Read more
