Humidifier works great and keeps the bedroom at a steady humidity. With a humidifier like this, use RO or distilled water, tap water will cause a white dust to disperse over time. Super quiet and can’t hear it operating in auto mode. The app is super easy to use and I would utilize that more than the actual controls on the humidifier. The humidifier relative humidity sensor is fairly accurate, but I’d highly recommend getting a second hydrometer and putting it somewhere else in the room, not next to the humidifier to test the real humidity. Few negatives but it doesn’t change the 5 star rating. The sleep mode function is basically useless as it mists at the lowest level humidity setting with no programming to stop at certain level so the humidity climbs to way too high levels. There is no screen display off button at the unit and you have to use the app to turn off the display if the display is providing too much light in the room at night. It's a compact humidifier that produces an impressive amount of mist for its size. It operates very quietly, and the essential oil filter is easy to clean with just plain water, leaving no lingering scent behind. I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the filters to be so easy to clean. It provides both hot and cool mist that works easily through the VeSync app or directly from the front panel. PROS: * Nice large size. I poured in a whole gallon of distilled water and there was still room left in the reservoir. * The water reservoir comes out completely for cleaning and has a handle for easy carrying. * The controls are simple, including both cool and warm mist options, a timer, a sleep function, and several options for rate. * The smart app is convenient if you want to control multiple units in various parts of the house, and there is a scheduling feature. * There are two adjustable nozzles. * Nice, quiet operation. CONS: * I chose this model pver some others for its built-in hygrometer, but it’s highly inaccurate. I tested it against three other hygrometers, moving them every 15 minutes for an hour. All three read 35–36%, while this unit showed 59%. Even without these visual comparisons, the air didn’t feel even close to as humid as the reading suggested. * Since I have other hygrometers, the built-in one doesn't need to be precise. However, without it, the app is useful only as a remote control. The app tracks humidity over time, but its reports are meaningless without accurate readings from the machine. * There is a little side door with a pad for essential oils, but I'm not sure much, if any, of the EOs get into the mist. You can control time, water usage and steam output! Can have shut off automatically by timer! There is also a phone app if you want to control remote!
