I purchased the first camera. it was perfect. then one day it never worked again. so. I purchased another one. this was a newer version i guess because it setup completely different using a different app and all. well, it is horrible. it uses tuyasmart app and the whole wifi setup process is the worse. it just dont work right. cant get it to detect in the tuyasmart app. it wont take any password i put in it. I did it exactly how they showed in "their" video. step for step. nope. nothing. whatever they changed from the first camera to this piece of junk they need to put back. Dont buy, this is a horrible headache. it will only piss you off. spend the extra couple dollars and buy a real ipcam or nanny cam. one that works the way its supposed to. this thing forget it. don't say I didn't warn ya. and im very computer and electronic savvy. I like the stealth factor of this camera. Use it inside my shop/garage mounted on a outlet strip. Motion detection is excellent. Will pick up the movement of the side door as I am entering. With the 128G sd card there is plenty of recording time. Although it will detect motion and trigger the camera it will not pick up a picture in pure darkness. Not a problem as I have a small motion light in the shop. Love this little camera. Read more

I will be returning mine. When the camera is on continuous record mode "loop" it consumes about 950 MB of memory in 5 minute clips. This is about 10x of what it should be. As a result my 128 GB memory card only last about 8.5 hours. That size card should be enough for 3 days+. The quality is on the low end of 1080, even in well lit shots the footage appears grainy. Also video clips are randomly corrupt. I imagine the item I received has changed since the previous positive reviews, or the positive reviews are fake.
